Dragonforce was actually the first power metal band I listened to. My friend got a copy of their demo way back before they got their record deal. I have all their songs in my library Smile

Dragonforce is certainly good, but I've grown to like heavier stuff. If you like Dragonforce though, then I'm sure you'd like (or already do like) Kamelot, Hammerfall, and Derdian. You can find them on Myspace.

And I'll take this opportunity to plug my friend's band, Eternal Legacy.

They recently went on tour in Germany, they've been playing a lot of local shows and plan on going on tour in the US sometime in the future. They have one CD out, The Coming of the Tempest. Their second album is due to come out sometime this year.

In no particular order:

Ace Enders and a Million Different People
Brighten
Rihanna
A Fine Frenzy
Frank Sinatra
Dean Martin
Death Cab for Cutie
Taylor Swift
Alicia Keys
Landon Pigg
I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business
Brand New
Sara Bareilles
Ingrid Michaelson
Late 80s early 90s Hip/Hop (My mom exposed me and my cousins to hip/hop at a very early age.)
I go through stages. So I don't really have a favorite.

I like many styles of music, depends on the mood I guess. I like Modern Rock, Alternative Rock, Classic Rock, Salsa, Classical, 80's, some Rap, R&B, etc, etc....

My favorites would be anything Jimmy Buffet, Van Halen, Evanescence, Godsmack, Disturbed, Nirvana, Beatles, Soundgarden, Shinedown, Bob Marley, Stained, Depeche Mode, Eminem, Hank Williams Jr., 50 cent, Prince, Eazy E, Tool, Deftones, Luther Vandross, God it will never end. Here I will just show you how many songs I have on this computer. Only about 18 gigs are songs, the rest are clips. Not a lot but it's a start!

Too many favorites:

Because I'm young at heart:

Avril Lavigne, Blink 182, Green Day, Outkast, Offspring, Radiohead, REM, White Stripes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Eminem, Daughtry, Collective Soul, Foo Fighters, Garbage, Black Eyed Peas, The Music, Muse, Fun Lovin Criminals, Nickelback, Ludacris, Pink (I dare you to laugh:-), Madonna (Go on, I dare you!), Zombie, Alanis, Beck, Pete Yorn, Sheryl Crow.

Because I'm old:

AC/DC, Aerosmith, Beach Boys, Beatles, Ozzie, Dylan, Boston, Springsteen, The Cars, The Jayhawks, Cheap Trick, The Clash, Creedence, The Doors, ELO, Foreigner, The Go-Go's, Journey, ZEPPELIN!!! ... Loverboy, Pat Benatar, Pink Floyd, The Police, Queen, REO Speedwagon, THE STONES!!! ... Styx, Supertramp, U2 and Van Halen.
(And almost anything country Smile

Because I'm :

Any Merengue and most Salsa Smile

And finally, because of the years I spent living in England, I developed a serious soft spot for Britpop:

Blur, Puressence, Placebo, Chumbawumba, Crowded House, Doves, Dodgy, Happy Mondays, Oasis, James, Lightning Seeds, Ocean Colour Scene, Pulp, Robbie Williams, Space, Catatonia, Seahorses, Travis, Texas, Manic Street Preachers, Ash and Cast.

That about covers it!

Oh, and by the way, I don't think this film is gonna have a soundtrack. Apart from the party scene I don't think I've heard anything but ambience in all the trailers and commercials.

i'm partial to anything, i mostly listen to J-Rock/Pop, but i guess whatever foo fighters, nickleback, matchbox 20 and others are, to name a few, i don't really know the genre, i just listen to em

except, i can't stand rap or hip-hop, i might listen to a few, but only say 5 per year of the hundred that come out per month or so....i think kanye west is the only one that fits the category, he has a few that i can sit thru, but 50 cent and others i can listen to, but not for long...

but this one grows on me everytime i hear it, even tho i can't listen to it all the way thru sometimes...
