[PRESS] New IGN Interview! Michael Stahl-David http://movies.ign.com/articles/843/843289p1.html
Nothing radically new, but an interesting read nontheless...
Although... this might make everyone reconsider the "Rob knows something!" ideas, because he said he learned from his mistakes in the teaser... who knows exactly WHAT his mistakes were?

yea, that whole thing about Rob knows it's coming makes every bit of sense now. I never once thought about the fact that the actors don't know all the special effects that are going to be put in when they're shooting. Good interview!

I love the fact that if Rob's backstory was a movie in itself- it'd be a "Bitter-Sweet" Romantic-comedy.
Rob desperately tries to gain the love of a girl he's fallen for. After realizing that she will never see him in that light and in dire need for change, he lands the job of a life-time that requires him to move to Japan. After making final arrangements for his departure, the girl realizes that she has feelings for him too. In the end, they become a relationship, but caught in the constant flow life has taken him, Rob continues with his plans to work at the job of his dreams and fully plans to move Beth out to Japan as soon as possible, stating at the end, "It would take a giant monster attacking the city to stop me from getting her to Japan."
