unlocking the isis
how to unlock the isis

i need an answer from someone regarding my isis puzzle. i tried all of the steps in your guide for unlocking the puzzle until i got stuck on the 2nd one. i dont't exactly know when the third ball bearing is in the right location in the maze. the plunger is supposed to only go halfway down when the BB is in the right location but i could never accomplish that.
about how long does it take for the BB to complete the maze? how often should i press the plunger while doing so? PLEASE RESPOND!!

when you know how to do it, you can get the 3rd bb in the right place in a matter of seconds. you dont have to push the plunger at all while getting the ball through the maze. the plunger is useless before you get the 3bb in the right spot.

if you need more help, there is a thread about the isis that surely has the anwser to your questions. there is also an Isis FAQ thread that tells you everything you need to know.

Sigh. Come on people, this is not the ISIS subforum. We don't want the Timewasters section cluttered with all these ISIS questions.

There are two threads which you can look at if you have questions regarding the ISIS, the ISIS FAQ thread and the main ISIS thread. If you can't find what you're looking for by browsing, use the Search function. Don't randomly start new threads.

resetting isis
resetting isis

Does anyone know if it is possible to put the isis in a state that can't be fixed. i recently solved the puzzle, but when trying to reset it, I placed it in a state that I can't figure out how to move from. the placentas are lines up but there is a small gap between the two halves. I can't determine if the 3rd ball is free or not. i fixed it to its magnet before trying to reset, but when screwing it back together i couldn't get it to fully close. I have tried to retrace my steps and have tried to start from step one and try to reopen it. nothing has worked. any ideas please? i want to give it to others in the family to see if they can solve it. please help.
