Artifice and Intelligence
a short story of interest

I recently came across a pretty fun little short story. Artifice and Intelligence by Tim Pratt.

Read it all the way to the very end, which most folks around here should find sort of interesting. Smile

All i saw at first was "Artifice" and did a double take. There's this awesome guy at my church who does metal and stone sculptures (which, by the way, are also awesome) who has a shop called Artifice. I've done some work there too...

So yeah...uh...

That said, looks cool! And by looks, I mean, the title and link look cool, as i shouldn't click on it and read it, as i should go to bed, as it is currently 3am, and as i have class in 6 hours.

Drool Thank you Unfiction, for stealing my life. Coffee

I love Tim Pratt so much -- I literally read Asimov's ragged when his Hugo-winning Impossible Dreams came out.

So, yeah. Thanks for the link.

If you don't like words, you can also listen to a reading of this story at The Escape Pod Podcast, which is were I initially encountered (and greatly enjoyed) the story.
