Don't flame people for having differing opinions or presenting something that contradicts yours.

I think columnists and TV reporters who haven't seen the movie are just fast to categorize it into ANY category.
They hear from one source that it could be an alien, they jump on the bandwagon "IT'S A MONSTER FROM OUTERSPACE OH EM GEEEEE"

If they haven't seen it, I doubt they know for sure. Everything's been so lock&key with this movie- if we don't know.. they probably don't know.

"my mother's cousin's uncle's brother's half sister in-law saw the movie and SHE said it's an alien"

Well then, it MUST be true.

Hell, in the movie.. they don't know what it is.. we may never find out exactly WHERE it comes from. Perhaps in the ARG it will uncover the origins, but it's possible in the movie they never confirm it.

I'm not "flaming" for that, I'm simply making a sarcastic point that we can't always go off of what the media says/thinks or what sub-genre someone places this movie.

Sarcasm is really an unappreciated humor... but an intellectual one.

I agree that you definitely can't always believe the media.
Hell, if you believe everything they say- then you'd have to believe that this movie is a 'parody of 9/11' Rolling Eyes

I was expecting that sentence to end with something other than "mouth".

well nothing IG was said about the monster being from space, but the Tagruato headline mentioned a piece of a Japanese satellite fell from space and that Tagruato was tracking it.

Actually, according to the article all they know is that sumthing dropped from space into the Atlantic Ocean, they just guess it was from a satellite.

I'd say that means extraterrestrial monster.

(Heck, thats that I figure everytime sumthing drops from space Smile)

maybe they know something we don't, lol

Edit - Tagged - MikeyJ

Hey guys, I wrote to the author of the article and asked him of his source for his description "monsters-from-space flick".

I got a reply:

Quote:
The source was the trailer and Internet gossip. I checked with the local PR rep for the studio, who said it would not be inaccurate to describe the movie that way, but he declined to give away the details.

The PR likes speculation and some differing reports?

Or maybe a part of the monster is from space? ie.: "some thing" fell on earth from space, mutated, or got mutated by Tagruato ==>became the monster
