I don't think anyone has taken into account that Cloverfield is trying to make it seem the monster could actually exist or something could exist to that extent one day. Godzilla doesn't. So there is no point in pitting our friend from Cloverfield against Godzilla. Unless you wanna talk about the American adaptation Lol.
