Parts of an oil station that are underwater are typically black. That looks more like part of what connects the upper station to the pontoons that are below the water.

Hurling multiple objects about confirms to me that, if not tentacles, MGP MUST have multiple apendages. Arms, if you will. The only thing I can think of would beat that theroy that Grumps may have multiple mouths or most of the things shooting up were due to boyancy, but I discredit that personally due to the girder that smashes through the life raft.

Yep. Kinda looks like that. Especially with the large round white/silver looking thing on the side.. a giant connector, rivet or something?

Those screen caps make it even more clear that there's no tentacle there.

 		Distress signal in japanese newscast
Ugh, I can feel the trout coming, but I had my headphones on when I was watching the japanese newscast, and I heard a distress signal. It's barely audible, and it starts when they post the picture of the tanker.

Trout away, but in my defense, theres almost 70 pages on this now >.<

 		Yeah, they were talking about the distress call about 20 pages back. Might have been important, but we've been on phantom tentacles for about 15 pages now, so nobody's paying attention to real clues in the videos.

Looks like the lower decks warping and twisting due to the dramatic pull on all four corners due to the pulling apart of the base.

I showed you in my photos. There is CLEARLY something covering that area above the leg of the station. Tentacle or not, there's something there. You can't just say "The light went out". The texture and color are different.

 		I'll laugh at all of you when the movie comes out and we find our beloved monster to have tentacles, come from outer space, AND produces smaller creatures. And when Slusho plays no important role in the movie.

THEN we'll see who's on top.
