Something I noticed on the English video (didn't check on the others) is that the bug (TV speak for the channel's logo) that contains the real time and temperature during the newscast, does click off minutes in real time. It is 11:16 when the report starts, at 1:20 through it, it turns to 1:17, then right as the debris is being thrown/hurled/burped/barfed into the air, it turns to 11:18.

Not ground-breaking but I thought I would add it. Stayed current with this thread and didn't see it referred to.

some sort of vortex to push things up with the sort of force is something to be reckoned with

and, if MGP had done it with say a tail or a swipe of an arm from under water, the debris would have collected in a sense, rather than come out randomly... he probably never even touched the debris, just forced it out... hence the roar at the same moment

Maybe the roar/ magnetic field is referenced in the humpback post on the TIDO site? Perhaps Tag has been raisng MGP beneath the station for some time? Just a thought to relate some old theories.

based on typical massive real-life animals and what we've seen of MGP so far, I estimated 400ft high, 200ft wide, and 400ft long.

how long could they have been "raising" it? the station went operational in Sept, and it probaly only took a year or two to construct...
... I think Bold Futura found it when searching the ridge, and Tagruato claimed the site, even though there "was no oil"

I'm still not convinced that the "american version" is legit. All the organizations in game so far are ficticious. I highly doubt JJ would get entangled with real-world hard-core activists. Why not use a TIDO spokesman and avoid real-world politics? Where else has he promoted anything else real-world? The companies mentioned in the other news links were fake as well.

All other comercials were released on youtube, why use liveleak, a more activist/political centric network? Endoil is listed favorably amonst certain global socialist organizations:
"EndOil also seeks to replace current exploitative models of production" (Read: Capitalist) "and use with those that respect sovereignty, economic and social justice," (Read: Socialist) "dignity, and human rights"

Unless JJ really is a devout eco-activist/global-socialist at heart, I'd think he'd avoid them with an 11 foot pole.

I think it's a commercial for Endoil, either by Endoil or one of their fans.

I could absolutely be wrong, but we won't know unless JJ and the marketeers disclose it at a later date.
