If the news reports say that there were some human casualties, but even so, they have to have a shiteload of boats, copters, etc., to get 355 people off that platform. I didn't see any others the copter and the boat.

It would make sense that Tag would have a private army - they are shady and were probably working on something untoward at that station. Bold Futura was probably involved in a big way there. Plus, with TIDOwave on their backs, they probably felt they needed some heavy duty firepower, UNLESS, they had them there, because they KNEW they were dealing with something strange in the deep blue sea.....

Also, each news report had poor sound, with the background videos almost overpowering the reporters, making it hard to hear and translate. All of the reports were from Europe, too. Wonder when Americans will get wind of this, or at least the BBC.


I think the Americans have gotten wind of this, as I mentioned - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WSNS-TV - that may be the Spanish broadcast's root.

Also, after noticing the mentioning of Zwickau Engineering, I went searching on Google. Nothing except this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zwickau
Zwickau is apparently not a bad city to be in if you're a German engineer. No results for Dominic Moltgen, however.


Though that Spanish the newscaster was speaking was Castillian, spoken in Spain. Plus, Telemundo is an NBC affiliate, so there is no way that the broadcast would NOT be shown here in the US by NBC at least (have a friend that works for Telemundo in NYC). We here in the Americas speak the "adulterated" version of Spanish (at least according to the Spaniards). Does Bermuda have a TV station, and why isn't BBC reporting anything?

 		After watching the clips a few times...I don't think MGP is visible in any of them...just debris...and possibly the boat fleeing the station.

Dispite the similarities, I don't think the debris in the trailer explosion is fired from Mr.GP, but it does show us how the liberty head could be thrown, and how damage can be done from a distance.

 		Odd...very odd. I went into Photoshop to overlay my screengrabs, and noticed...nothing lines up between the two. I think it's very likely that all of you are right now. It seems they're different scale, which caused the earthquake to appear south to Chuai...I still can't reconcile the location of it next to the Bermuda though...

To clarify, I used the bottom control bar as the point to line up the screens. Then even when I tried lining up any one point, nothing else lined up. Very odd.

 		i dont know, to me the part where the tag guard is pointing a weapon doesn't seem like hes pointing it AT the camera guy, it seems like hes pointing it at whatever is chasing the camera guy. if you pay attention, when the camera guy continues to run past him, the guard doesnt turn, he leaves his focus straight ahead of him, past the camera guy. if he followed the camera guy, we'd see the laser sight shine as he past him.

if you notice, they are different view maps, one is more curved, like from google earth, the other is more like a standard map, more straight and hardly curved, if at all, so it wouldn't line up anyways

Yeah I wouldn't pay much attention to that, I've seen much bigger discrepenies on genuine news reports!

 		Part of what JJA said was that we needed an American monster like Japan's Godzilla (not necessarily in appearance).
Depending on how literal you take his statement, it's possible the MGP has unnatural powers (something powerful like Godzilla's breath).

Perhaps MGP has some ability to fling large metal objects without physically throwing them (giant Megneto Wink ).

 		At the start of the Spanish version you see they are definitely shooting into the water, in all directions, from the station prior to it going down. The rig/crane which is on top of the station also goes over prior to the station starting to go down. Perhaps they were in the process of bringing something up, which was inert or so they thought, but turned out to be MGP who pulls the crane over and they the station from it base.
