Holy shit. This is incredible. Chuai existed. Grumpypants certainly didn't like it.

So the earthquake was caused by Grumps. Was he laying dormant underground? Was Ganu trying to dig him out when everything went horribly awry?

I think the suitcase handcuffed to the guy in the helicopter contains the truth behind Chuai. He handcuffed it to himself so that if he died, the papers containing the true meaning of the Chuai station would go down with him.

The difference in the graphics showing the Chuai location in the one video are because they are using a 3d model of the earth and not a flat map. It looks very much like Google Earth in fact. I was speaking more of it appearing to be farther south, which I'll be checking on shortly.

The armed men firing into the water are firing in ALL DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. So either MGP is swallowing Chuai, or he has tentacles, or is wrapping its arms all around it..or something.

We don't know enough about the helicopter yet. Was it escaping or just arriving?

He could be leaving with vital info or just arriving to deliver it.

The helicopter was a pretty good distance from the station at the start of the Spanish newscast. Perhaps too far to have just left it.

The platform appears to be the Chuai Station, located in the middle of the Atlantic, which sank a couple of days ago, even though there has been no official confirmation of the incident. This image was taken from a helicopter, going toward or away from the platform.
This platform has more than 300 scientists and workers. This seems to show the platform being split, and then sinking in a matter of minutes, when this kind of modern platform is designed to remain floating up to 24 hours.
This is something really extraordinary. The experts are studying these videos, and trying to find out the cause of the tragedy. Some sources even suggest that the platform might have suffered an attack. Tagruato, the Japanese company in charge of the platform, was forced to emit rushed statements, when the sequences surfaced. The spokesperson says that it is known that the Ecological activist group TIDO Wave was in the area at the moment of the incident. He declares that the group has already snuck into Tagruato operations, provoking damage. These images, taken with a cell phone on the platform, sustain this possibility.
Whatever it is, the seismic intensity of the event was registered in the seismological center of Rivadeo, even though the scientists at the center have expressed doubt toward the theory of a provoked explosion.
The impressive speed, scale, and drama of the incident are shown in this last – and terrible – image, taken, apparently, by the members of the crew during their runaway.
These are incredible scenes. We have no news as to the whereabouts of these people, or the cameraman responsible for the images. We can only have the hope that they somehow survived. It seems…"

Judging the size of MGP from the trailers, he has to be quite a bit larger than the station... big enough to bear hug it into a pile of floating crap. That's why the guards are shooting all around, cause he IS all around
