 		Very Happy So that's how the monster sends out it's minions. It pumps them out. That's what the flying "debris" was. Ever wonder why they were all in the same round, capsule like shape? And wonder why they weren't aimed at the boat. The monster was following them and shooting out minions at the same time.

They need to hurry it up! Also, our intelligence here in the States monitor ALL types of news broadcasts, so I KNOW this one has NOT escaped our government's eyes. After seeing these reports, military just went on alert all along our East coast, but especially the metroplex that is D.C., NYC, Boston, Philly, BMo. Government's NOT going to take any chances of being caught by surprise again. Not after 9/11. Another speculation as to why the military was already in NYC, ready. They are probably monitoring the situation VERY closely....

 		I think this proves it is Godzilla. i mean Godzilla swims, he breathes fire (which for my oil lamp i use oil, which means that oil is needed for fire, chuai has oil) Its so obvious. [/1-18-08SLUSHOMAKEYOUHAPPY impression]

i don't think he was being serious..
but if he was..
they would have also had to have been on fire in the trailer, and able to survive an incredible fall back to the earth to bite humans. Confused

That's a good point. Could very well be a solid reason that the troops were ready and armed in NYC so quickly.

I was being half serious half joking. The idea is plausible, but I don't think it's right. It's the only spec left to mention on this topic anyways.

And the monster came from space, he must've survived the fall too.
