Okay, so it would seem that each video offers something to the table...

The German vid:

-the high advanced drilling system was planned by the company zwichau engeneering in leipzig (leipzig is an east-german town) under the leadership of the graduated engineer dominik möltken.

The Spanish vid:

-This rig harbours over 300 workers and scientists. The video seems to show it breaking apart and sinking in a matter of minutes, even though this kind of modern rigs are designed to keep afloat under the worse circumstances up to 24 hours.

The French vid:

-Who the man in the photo is/who Madame Leclerc is

-Tagruato speak of seven persons lost

Remember that the pics in Jamie's Photobucket of that guy with the FG logo were pulled well before Teddy was introduced, along with at least one other photo several (myself included) believed was a personal picture from the person playing Jamie. Since they never reintroduced the pictures, we have no evidence that it was Teddy.

Thoughts:

As I've mentioned before, this appears to be a VERY Loud monster. It can be heard distinctly for miles in New York, apperantly under water... It must be deafening up close.

Helicopter crew did not seem to be speaking english, but it's hard to tell.

So where is the helicopter going from here? Newfoundland is well out of range for most helicopters, Portugal and African countries (and costal islands) as well. The Azores are plausable... A Tag ship nearby perhaps?

The earthquake is still fascinating. It seems like more than just a station hitting the bottom would make. Something very odd about MGP and the earthquakes, it's beyond natural explanation, I hope we get a clue in the movie.

Also interesting, as others have mentioned, the wake at the begining of the clip. It appears that there is a wake leading left of the station. I think AeRoSpaceman hit on this Depending on what kind of station this is, it may be that the platform is mobile, and was booking away from it's original position, hence the wake.

Also seems to me the incident is happening slightly east of where the www.tagruato.jp site shows the rig.

It seems unlikely they would sink pilars all the way down to the seafloor in such a geologically active area so my bet is on a mobile platform.


Surfacing Debris is at very high velocity. Normally I would suggest they are most likely bouyant items that have come loose (perhaps the station body has flipped underwater allowing airbearing items to escape) and accelerating to the surface because of their bouyancy. This doesn't explain the grateing that seems to hit the small boat, but it's possible it had bouyant material under it.
The only other possible explanation is that MGP propelled the material with nearly inconceivable force. Then again, we have at least one other inconceivable force, the earthquakes.
