I don't think the station fell on Dec 27. The only source for that is TAG who are suspect of course. Dec 27 is when TIDOWave would have been in the area for the event if they had just got back and posted on Jan 1.

I think it fell earlier and TAG is giving that date because it can be show TIDOwave was in the area and so they, as eco-terrorists, can be blamed for taking the station down.

Notice the similarities between the flying debris here and the explosion from the trailers and commercials. I'd hedge my best on this piece of SPEC: The monster has some kind of ability to make things explode in more than just a simple brute force kick-and-punch kind of way.

while the videos are of rather bad quality it seems like you can see gunfire from the platform.

tagruato was already accused in the past to employ a huge privat army and experts are exermining if the rapid evacuation of the crew members was caused by a para militaristic attack.

according to current reports people got killed wich in turn is denied by tagruatos press people.
its not clear if germans were on board.

Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!!! This footage is AWESOME! I heard the roars in each of the videos. Even with poor quality, the footage of the station being yoked is GREAT! So much for the closing off of the underwater lab theory (maybe...).

Questions:
If the news reports say that there were some human casualties, but even so, they have to have a shiteload of boats, copters, etc., to get 355 people off that platform. I didn't see any others the copter and the boat.

It would make sense that Tag would have a private army - they are shady and were probably working on something untoward at that station. Bold Futura was probably involved in a big way there. Plus, with TIDOwave on their backs, they probably felt they needed some heavy duty firepower, UNLESS, they had them there, because they KNEW they were dealing with something strange in the deep blue sea.....

Also, each news report had poor sound, with the background videos almost overpowering the reporters, making it hard to hear and translate. All of the reports were from Europe, too. Wonder when Americans will get wind of this, or at least the BBC.

i think tagruato is trying to blame this whole catastrophe on tido wave...presumably they ll also gonna say its their fault that the monster destroyed nyc because they fucked up the station (after infiltrating it etc)

It's not to far off, don't freak out about it to much. I'm sure it was rushed a bit and they were just going off the best information they have at the moment. It happens all the time in real life.
