[SPEC] Five minutes of Randomness?

Look, people have been saying that the five minute clip we saw was the exact footage from the film. I know for a fact that it isn't. They have changed several of the special effects in the shots (i.e: explosion). I have an odd feeling that the five minute clip skipped out on a lot of the film. There is more of the News report, but the clip cuts it short just so we can see the shots of destruction quicker.

Bottom line: the 5 minute clip is not direct from the film. It has been cut up and modified for our viewing so that no spoilers get out. Everything is in order, just cut strangely.

Because I was raised off of 1-18-08news.com forums.....I call bs unless you can prove it. If you can, by all means, I'd like to hear this!

The news report in the radio ads and Tv spots has more in it than what appears in the clip.

The roof scene has more to it as seen on the TV spots.

The party is much longer than that as seen in the trailers, TV spots and radio ads.

I agree, but I think it was to shorten it, rather than to avoid spoilers.
I have no proof though, just a hunch.

It's weird that there is a cut just after they leave the building too, I think there will be some more filler before the head appears.

you gotta remember that this is only a 90-odd minute film,so things might be a bit quick, kinda like the harry potter movies, they cover a major event in like 5 minutes

Duh i thought we all knew that, if they found a tape why would the tape be cut up like that. I think that they show at the party then running down stairs and stuff like that. I think that the movie is not cut up that much. If i was in thier situation i would not be worried about the batter on my camera, i would just shoot and run Very Happy
