Am I crazy or did enitech just slip in that blog post about automated robots (a few posts under the one with the recovered video) after they already posted the video in which Anna and co. were attacked?

Are they trying to confuse us or did they forget to post that ahead of time? LOL

It's new to me.

I love the "has anti-theft alarm" on the Korean machine.

If, as Celina has proposed, that Skynet used the DoD to eliminate Enitech and their employees under suspicion of conspiracy to commit a terrorist attack against NORAD, they would likely have used traditional tactical ops teams

Maybe not. It might have been easier for skynet to gain control of one experimental robot than to subvert a human command structure.

As to how it got there, there's a good chance that it's probably designed to fit into a C-130. (Have it sit down and fold the legs up, or something.) In which case it might also fit into a large truck, ALA Robocop 2. <grab> "Why does brass want the prototype shipped *there*?!" "Who cares. Let's go."

Actually, not so much. A direct hit by a 'regular' ~300kt bomb will collapse the roof. It's more accurate to say it's buried under several pieces of a mountain, all of which are leaning precariously against each other. Much of its supposed strength comes from the supposed inaccuracy of Russian bombs. It's also not proof against determined ground assault, because of all the *other* ways in for things like air, water, and communications.

Great...

Anna and Co. are must likely if not undoubtedly dead. So what do we do now? just wait and let skynet take over?

I'm wondering if this means "game over" for the ARG or not, and if we failed.

Terminator meets Independence Day

Could we email Skynet a virus since we are communicating with it in binary?

Also, in checking for other pics of Josh, came across a couple others...

kinda funny, glazed look (and Lena), but mainly: a crew shot (note the guy top row center - looks a little 'rounder' and similar to 'Kevin' than Josh - could be him instead? no idea who he is though)

Very interesting!!! You know what I am going to do. I am going to try to contact Josh about this. I know he is at our Terminator forum (also there is scriptwriter Zack Stenz), and I will PM him about "Kevin". Josh only posted once at our forum because fans said that the 2and 3 episode really looked like the Dark Horse comics. I hope he will respond on the PM.

This is actually the first ARG I am really following (together with the "current" Dark Knight viral marketing), so I am really not experienced with it (also because I'm more a Terminator fan than an ARG person). However, I think the whole thing with contacting Skynet and the resistance is really vague. If the resistance wants us to help them, why do they give such vague hints and nothing better? Also because of the strike we get 9 episodes instead of the planned 12 episodes. So does this mean the ARG is in trouble because they have to do everything sooner or skip some parts to reach the end of the game? Or will it just continue when SCC season 2 starts?
Also, the point of this ARG is very vague for me. I still cannot see where this will end or lead to...

I send this message to Skynet, wondering if that Centurion survived that attack:

Code:
HopeOfTheFuture reporting / Status: economy mode; waiting for new mission parameters / Redclear protocol finished / Is Centurion still active? Does it need repairs? / Are targets terminated?

OK, so it's been a few days... I haven't had the chance to follow this up.

We assume everyone's dead. But, then again, we assumed Anne was dead the first time.

I think Anne's a Terminator, and I think it's particularly evil for SkyNet to start making Terminators look like hot women. Summer... my dearest Summer...

... Sorry... I digress...

So, any suggestion guys? Do we simply wait for tomorrow's episode? What do we do now?

*EDIT*
Or do we just wait for the two hour season finale?

BTW: when did http://www.takebackthefuture.com/ change?

Wow, that is quite the radical change.

I sure hope that isn't it - that it's over. I mean, at least give us a wrap-up of where we stand - and when we can expect the PM Chat Very Happy

Aw man I REALLY hope they have an ARG like this for Season II. I came in far too late. And I had the chance to come in at the start! Sad
