Holy cow this is starting to look interesting... A new puzzle and I have no clue how to solve it... but it points to real locations...

Edit:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I also noticed on todays blog post if you look in the source for the page, it was posted by Mike. Mike also has his name on the whiteboard in the last video. Anna may very well not know what Mike is up to...

Yeah I'm already confused on the puzzle, now you made me add another element into it, I think my brain about esplode.

I just noticed the X's in the margin of the paper aren't all the same distance apart, maybe a key on solving it?

I think I see a T-800 endoskeleton in the debris on the left in the last bombing picture.

And, there's a new video by Anna on the blog... things are getting interesting now.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Anna tells us about the cameras that apparently Enitech found that were buried in various locations, that one of them was the basis for their "future" camera. (I think that someone from the future came back to 2007, and buried the cameras for people to find, to warn them about the future and let them know to stop it)

Towards the end of the video, it shows a guy walking toward Anna from afar, which causes her to run to her car. She gets inside, and out the driver's side, you can see this same guy appear right outside her car door, and his eyes flash red for a moment. (Terminator, obviously) It appears that Anna drives off, but if she got away from him, that remains to be seen.

Hi guys

We've set up a channel to discuss SCC and puzzles. It's #enitech. With puzzles like this new punchcard thing, collaboration is the order of the day, so come on in!

My own spec regarding the punchcards - they don't look anything like real punchcards, so I don't think we have to find the code scheme of real punchcards. Also, the answer might be in numbers - ie; longitude and latitude, if they do represent locations as Dyson suspects. The Xs on the side might be spaces. That's all I've got for now.

See you in #enitech!

We can't say they aren't based on punch card codes as there were several dozen encodings for what are generically known as Hollerith cards.
Here's a friendlier view in numeric form where a blank row is zero and numbers are greater the further left they are punched on the card.

That said, they don't look like any of the more common types, especially with the "X" columns. Possibly an overlay situation?

Code:

/------------------------------
32010 32000022002 32000222000
-------------------------------

/------------------------------

002210320003200232000000000000
-------------------------------

/------------------------------
XX    X     X     X
  0222 02120 46454 20202000000
-------------------------------

/------------------------------
02210564477 02210 02020000000
-------------------------------

ETA: The "X"s are reminiscent of IBM styles that used their upper rows as "plus 10" (Row #11 counting from the bottom, up) or "plus 20"(Row #12 counting from the bottom, up) in an ASCII styled encoding.

There is somewhat of a pattern to the data that would seem to indicate groupings of six (five characters per card) or three (ten characters per card).

I thought that too, but how do you line them up when you overlap, and we still don't have a cipher key so we're screwed until we do.

For what it is worth here are the cards in spreadsheet form

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pNki1ZdyK3G8ZALKjYZNqKw&hl=en

since it is a spreadsheet the rows are the top lines of the box

I took the liberty of making the cards up into a easier-to-see format. The two pictures are all four of the cards, and then an overlay (color coded) of the cards. If you think it would help to flip or rotate them, or flip one or do anything, I have the PSD files on hand and I can do the editing or provide the files for you.

Edit: Updated the pictures, changed the axis to start at zero, darkened every 5 lines, and added the side marks.

Just a few notes regarding some things I noticed,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the secure portion of the dyson site, I found two odd things.
1. The rest of the website's code being fairly error-free, there is a single space character in front of the first punchcard picture. I really wonder if that space, being so out of character for the site, is meant to mark out that card for any reason? Just a thought, it may be nothing in the end. I might overlook it had I not found...
2. If you mouse over the 'Apply for Funding' tab, you'll find two addresses, http://dysontrust.org/apply.html for the 'Ap' and http://dysontrust.org/secure/apply.html for the 'ply for Funding' part. The latter leads as of now to a broken link, page not found type error. This isn't QUITE as simple as adding an extra space like above. This isn't your run of the mill copy-paste error, unless your computer tends towards closing, opening and editing tabs while pasting. It seems to be purposeful, despite leading to a dead end. Is it possible there is a second secure site?

From IRC last night(Eastern), concerning the punchcards:

 • Researching Future John Connor's past to figure out coding is a possibility
 • # of holes/card: 17, 19, 10, 6
 • # of groupings/card: 5, 6, 4, 7
 • Last column, 8, is used most often
 • Discovery of messy HTML, see above post.
 • With the long weekend, you can get Portal: First Slice free if you have an nVidia graphics card while waiting for a new blog post.
 • Holes may indicate a phone number?
 • squid808 has noticed some 'repeat phrases': first card: 8,8,9 twice. 3rd: 7,8 twice. 4th: 7,8 three times. 1st: pattern starts after X+line. 4th: 7,8 starts starts just after X

squid808's Final thought:
<squid808> anyone still here?
<squid808> well, for anyone who sees this, this was my train of thought: if you take bits from the bottom of one and match it with the top of another, you can go red over green over yellow over blue; the imperfection being that red's bottom overlaps green's top. but with yellow to green to blue it's a perfect match.
<squid808> it's possible that flipping the over the x axis would allow us to perfectly match the bottom of blue to the new 'top' of red
<squid808> oh and if you didn't see my picture, card 1=red, 2=blue, 3=green, 4=yellow
<squid808> i dunno. i just find it interesting we can overlap the tops and bottoms of them fairly easy.
<squid808> i'm out for the night, lata.
* squid808 (squid808SPLATchat-solu-CF5A497D.nycmny.fios.verizon.net) has left #enitech

Wow, thanks for cracking the password!

I logged in today just fine A_champion, though the unforum seems to be slow for me lately =) What does it say when you try to log in? Maybe its the capitalization of the password?

I love it when they update the site frequently!

edit: im confused with the numbering of the punch card
0 and 1 are supposed to be side by side, not 0 and 9, am I right?

For the past few days, the site keeps timing out for me.
If it keeps doing it, I recommend finding a proxy site to go through.

Dang, I was hoping for a site update today. I guess I will be stressing about the cards. Maybe it'll force me to get out and talk to people.

BTW the login seems to be working fine, the secure page also has alot of images which might be why it's timing out, due to the large file size.
