mike's attacker/murderer

from episode 3:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
cromartie took the scientist' eyes

I think that would explain why the attacker's eyes weren't glowing, so it's definitely cromartie and the story(arg) is pretty much tied in to the current episodes

edit: added (arg) by me

perhaps that could be how he got in. We should ask if the guy on the show is known by Enitech, and perhaps he has security access to enter the building. (retinal scan? that might be pushing it)

Watching the takebackthefuture video, we are shown a series of numbers in the following order:
6241
2739
1987
1920
1975
7542
0232
1204

Someone else was talking about how Mike's killer was able to get into the Eintech building without force. Could these be lock combinations of some kind?

I don't think that the Resistance would publish numbers that would make it easier for the attacker to enter Enitech. The Resistance has done its best to warn Enitech that Skynet is onto them.

The numbers are something else.

Well, two of the three previous triangles fit well with the latest one (bottom and right in the attached image), but the third (left) doesn't seem to fit as well.

Quick Question, does the word 'Resist' have anything to do with how these symbols are oriented?

yeah toasty, seems you got the orientation right... had to re-check some of the other originals, and with a bit of a stretch on some of the lines, they do appear match up. a couple of the lines I just can't seem to find anything indicating a connection in the central piece... but otherwise everything seems to match. so what's with the open connections at the base pieces? They don't line up if it were to fold into a pyramid either.

Ah, much better! It's definitely difficult to see some of the lines that are near parallel with the static.

So, would it appear that we are missing a couple triangles yet? Strange, as if this is a neural net, any more nodes added to the sides of what we have wouldn't seem to feed into the final output of the system at the apex of the diagram.

sorry for the multi-posts, but the original do seem to line up better than the tracings when adjusted for perspective...

(and adjusted to brighten the central piece lines)

The image you did with the heightened contrast on the middle piece looks great given the source. I think there's a missing small circle on it that's at that point where the two curved lines go to the right and off the lower left piece.
With that circle available, I almost see another one in symmetry with it on the other (right) side of the piece. Really hard to be sure, though.

I understand what you mean, but the image does not contain any indication of a circle at that spot. It doesn't show up when the image is split to RGB nor to CYMK. The lower curve links to the upper left circle in the middle section; the upper curve links to the very center circle in the middle section. It's easier to trace where the stray end of the one curve goes using the bezier curve tool, it's difficult to see in the original image, but the line does connect.

A trace of the lines in the image:

It never ceases to amaze me what talents and skills come to bear on some of the stuff we work on. I wasn't getting anywhere near that level of certainty about the lines, but what you've posted looks very likely. I never would have found the one that loops back on itself.

ETA: Could the red line of the two I mentioned previously actually be a continuation of the green curved line originating in the 2nd row?

The red one is the only one that is curved while going from one row to the next. All the other curved lines connect two points on the same row or are used when a row is skipped.

A reply... and an idea.

Is it possible that it's still not complete? Like, that we need more triangles to get the entire schematic? I ask only because a few parts of the mapping appear to be broken, at least to me.

What do you guys think?

Another scary thought I had the other day... We all know that John Connor's Resistance group is called "Tech-Com". I can't help but to wonder if the "Tech" part of the name is drawn off of Enitech's name. Maybe they're more important to the Resistance than we originally thought.

So feel free to trout me if I'm wrong, but I google'd the name "Zoltan Gerts" on a whim, and got the following page almost immediately.

http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main/whimit.com

It's not the most common name in the world, and the address is listed as:

edit: personal info removed - find it in the link above, just because it's general consensus he's a real person, and there's no reason to consider his personal info in-game (and yes, he lives in new york =) -thebruce

Phone Unlisted
zgerts [at] whimit.com

To that point, that information is all accurate as to the game. The question is now, is this a PM player or is this a real person? Because if it's just a real person who's ideas made it into the game, I don't want to be spamming their info all over the net.
