Dyson Trust Images

Now that the images from Dyson are legitimately in play, would it be possible for someone to post them? They go by much too quickly for me to make any sense of.

Thanks.

OK, so I have recruited a distinguished ARGer from the past, Ariock, to help us with this mission. He's only about 45 minutes away from the location, but can't get out there until Saturday. On that day, we're going to trade phone numbers and once he gets to the location, he'll give me a call and describe what he sees (as well as get pics for uploading afterwards).

Before that day arrives, I would like to gather some intel for him, so he's not going in completely blind (he hasn't been following either the show or the game, but is a knowledgeable ARGer who can figure stuff out on the fly Smile ).

1.) Are we *certain* the building is at 414 Bee St?

2.) Do you know what building this is? I've heard spec that it's a senior recreation center... is this a fact and how was this determined? If we could discover exactly what is at this location... and maybe get a phone number to the reception desk or something... and have someone there look at the bulletin board - could save Ariock a trip, or at least give him an idea of what he needs to do...

3.) Do we have *any* idea what he should be looking for? We know he's to go to the Lobby and look at the Bulletin board - is he looking for a name... a picture... a company... any ideas?

I've given him the ultimate "this is EniTech ARG in an extremely small nutshell" and pointed him to the wiki, but any other info we can give him would certainly help him find what we need him to find.

NO, but that is the approximate address give in Google Maps.

2.) Do you know what building this is? I've heard spec that it's a senior recreation center... is this a fact and how was this determined? Zooming in on the only thing that looks like a publicly accessible space in Street View, there is a sign on a fence that says "Recreation Senior Center"

3.) Do we have *any* idea what he should be looking for? We know he's to go to the Lobby and look at the Bulletin board - is he looking for a name... a picture... a company... any ideas?

Not a clue.

ETA:
There IS a library on the next street over - Sausalito LIbrary, 420 Litho St.
http://www.ci.sausalito.ca.us/Index.aspx?page=100

Looks to be city hall as well, with a park between Bee and Litho.

All we know is that it's at those coordinates, on a bulletin board that is on the floor labeled "L" (which we can only assume is the lobby).

Oh, and tell him to watch out for a guy wearing a black leather jacket and tinted aviator goggles... He's mean.

OK, from the city's site, this is what other public facilities are right there:
Quote:
ROBIN SWEENY PARK located at City Hall, on Caledonia between Litho and Bee Streets basketball court, children's play area and lawn area

SENIOR CENTER located in City Hall at the corner of Bee and Caledonia Sts. Carpeted room with tables, chairs, bathrooms and kitchen

EXERCISE ROOM located in City Hall at the corner of Bee and Caledonia Sts. hardwood floors with mirrors

CLUB HOUSE located in City Hall at the corner of Bee and Caledonia Sts. open to the public during posted hours at the Parks and Recreation Department. The Club House includes a Sega and Nintendo Wall, television with VCR, ping-pong, pool, table hockey and foosball

I think it's safe to say we're looking for City Hall.

Well I'm not exactly sure where this sign is that says it's a senior rec center... but the GPS is directly over a building on Bee St., which you can see in the link above (ignore street view's default viewing angle).

Actually doing a little more digging, I think the building it's over top of is actually 420 Litho St. - the Sausalito Library. The view from Litho street is much nicer, like the front, main entrance to a library. They don't seem to have an official website, or at least anything with identifiable outside pictures. But it's beside the Robin Sweeny Park, that same block.
ah yeah, this pretty much says it, on a sign at the bottom of the block at the park. So it's the Sausalito Library (which also makes more sense) to get to.

At the very least, just print out a copy with the GPS on top of the building Razz

ETA: maybe it is just the Sausalito City Hall
- Directions to Sausalito Public Library
- Inside Sausalito Civic Center ("City Hall")
- 420 Litho Street, Sausalito CA

Bit brazen of these guys to be posting stuff on a bulletin board in City Hall, or even in a public library. Anything I put up in downtown Miami's City Hall or library would be taken down in seconds.

I know... The Sausalito City Council must *all* be T-888s! I KNEW IT!

This is exactly what Ariock was thinking, so he's going to try both City Hall and the Library.

We were discussing in chat as to whether a phone call to either of these locations prior to Saturday would do any good - in order to determine if anything was still there to collect...

I got the Senior Center by going to 414 Bee St. at the link previously mentioned and spinning toward the pointer at the listed coordinates.
37.85969,-122.488858

Hope this link shows the sign. It's on the fence, in front of the bush, to the right of the stairs.

It's probably all part of the same complex.

I've talked to an employee named Doug at City Hall, a couple of times today. He said there are bulletin boards all over the place. So whoever goes may have their work cut out for them.

Looks like the latest blog entry is pointing to where our agent in the field needs to go to.

Blog Post? Yesterday at Noon?

Are there other non-UF groups following this game? Has this already been picked up? I'd rather not run out there if this is a done deal.
