More importantly, this seems to show a rather low level of communication between the Terminators and Skynet. Let us assume that Anna Kies was probably killed by the terminator, but if Skynet is unsure, this would mean that it either does not trust what the terminator told it, or the other terminator has not reported in yet, either way, we may be able to exploit this . . . . what if we told it that the terminator unit that killed Anna has been corrupted by the resistance and try to get Skynet to eliminate it's own agents? Get SKynet to chase is own's tale, so to speak . . .

But I was just gonna reply, and tell them bryanflurry should be eliminated Sad

I guess that might work... maybe I'll ask if the Model who was to report of Anna's termination did so.

It seems to me, for Anna's sake and our own, we want Skynet to think Anna is dead... that way, if she has survived, it'll get off of her trail and she can be of assistance.

I'm sure Bryan meant well... we should just talk about our strategy in here and that way people will know what to do and what not to do... there will always be outliers, though.

I sent SkyNet email posing as a T-888 (recently arrived from the future), updating it on the progress made towards Enitech and informing it that I completed a secondary objective, Terminating Resistance member Derek Reese. When asking to be advised on my next move I got the same message about Terminating Anna. That's after I claimed to have been within a 5 block radius of Enitech with vault entry imminent.

Eliminating Ms. Kies seems to be a fairly high priority if it wants the Terminators to take her out quickly without advising on the vault or anything else I made reference to. That said whatever we do, we should definitely make sure that we don't all claim to have terminated her at the same time.

I'm wondering if we should just say that she has been eliminated, or take a different route...... like blaming bryanflurry? (I kid)

I emailed the Resistance asking what they advised about the Anna situation. Maybe a reply will help us make a decision.

Response from Enitech:

We are taking measures to ensure that SkyNet does not destroy our
research and our lives. I apologize but at this time some of our work
must remain secret due to the extreme danger posed by these outside
forces.

hmm, quite interesting to say the least. Is it possible, that they might have a connection to Skynet?

And is it just me or does the shadow of a hand in the Dyson Trust page look like TURK?

I received a reply from EniTech as well:

Don't worry. We're on it. We aren't quite as many steps behind as some of our updates might lead you to believe.

Wow...

Because of a silly computer issue, I've been 95% offline for the past few weeks. So I missed all of the fun with the DT AI and the first contact with Skynet(?).

Reading through the past fifteen pages or so has been... interesting...

I agree with the idea that we should coordinate our responses to Skynet (assuming that it is Skynet we're talking to). For example, posing as a newly arrived Terminator from the future might not be the best tactic since Skynet would know if it had just sent a new unit back in time...

Also, it would seem that we'd need to figure out on which side we stand. I know that the comments about actually posing as a terminator and going after the target characters are just jokes, but we need to play it safe...

I mean, earlier in this thread we speculated about whose side Bill and the other Ts were on, and whether we were talking to resistence members or Skynet in disguise... so it seems funny to me that now that we're supposedly talking to skynet, we seem to be playing along with its intentions.

Just a couple cents for the piggy bank..

I agree that it would be a bad idea, but wouldn't the same apply to say a terminator sent back 2 years ago?

And just whose side are we on anyways?

Well, my thinking is that the SkyNet of present day wouldn't know exactly what it's future counterpart does, assuming it is Skynet or someone/something working on its behalf we are talking to anyway. And if it is it makes more sense for Terminator's to be contacting it than humans, after all if humans are speaking with it then it has been severely compromised and should catch on quickly. Seems like the best way to pump it for information would be to pretend you are one of its agents. Plus, any that have been back for a while would have had an opportunity to contact it.

If it (Skynet or whatever) is an enemy force, it makes sense to me to feed it misinformation in order to get real info from it that can then be used to assist the Resistance or Enitech.

Ah, that's a very good point, but I was thinking that the future version would then realize that who it was keeping in contact with in present day were humans, and thus not make contact with us.

One word can sum it up:

PARADOX!

As of 5:37 pm WST there is a new blog post:

So, has anyone else besides me received email from Skynet mentioning Redclear?

OK. Skynet had asked me to advise on Redclear, so I just sent email back requesting more information on the protocol in order to advise. We'll see if I get a reply.
