does the "terminator" tag on enitech's blog count?

sure, but that's a label - how would they know it's a machine yet? Do they? Apart from players' uncontrolled meta-speak about the movies/show Razz

Y'all just had to go and make sense didn't you!? It does sound plausible, and since they haven't heard from the T-800 sent to eliminate Anna, I suppose it could happen. But the only thing I don't understand is why Anna hasn't contacted anyone at Enitech, or the resistance.

Maybe she has and they don't want us to know yet?

perhaps not to risk the potential advantage that she's believed dead. perhaps they were knocked out, perhaps trapped, perhaps holed away studying the T before risking public appearance again. She seems intelligent. If she figured that she was in danger, then being attacked, and surviving via EMP, she'd probably realize not to be naive, but remain incpicuous, off the grid, until she could learn more. Having a deactivated cybernetic organism in possession would give her something (high priority) to study, before risking exposure. I think she's pretty independent, and she's with Freddy too.

Frank also said they were further along than their updates would have us believe. Perhaps Anna has already regained contact with Enitech.

Pushing that line even further, I almost see this is a story playing out as it would in real life, as opposed to watching on tv. Stuff is happening 'right now', but how does it remain secret if we know all about it publicly? There have been double agents all over the place (people who have been 'testing the arg waters' with fabrications and fibs and whatnot - how do they know who to trust? Skynet's already commanding that certain suspected units terminate themselves, and it seems also cutting off communication to them).

We may just be 'sitting around' as it were because we don't have anyone "inside" to know what's going on. Frank said they'd update us this week, and we've been trying (fairly uncautiously) to get info out from anyone we can. Seems almost like we have little trust from anyone at the moment.

Or... maybe... they WANT Skynet to attack them with ground units? I mean, if they have a defense against Terminators, why go hunting for them when you know where they're going?

Perhaps we should tell Skynet "screw you, we're attacking Enitech anyway"...?

I don't remember right off hand, but Anna was reading "Build Your Own Combat Robot."

ah tru tru... supporting the theory she may be studying the deactivated T right now (if indeed they did have an EMP)

I think they've known it was a machine ever since Mike's death... and Anna got a close-up look at one when she was retrieving the camera (Bill)...

BTW, where did *this* SkyNet come from? Is it the present day Turk, or did it get brought back from the future as well? Since it knows about the Terminators does that suggest that it's from the future, or maybe the T's just made contact after they returned?

<WILDASSSPEC>
I'm thinking SkyNetEmbedded is perhaps something along the lines of Peer to Peer networking, via a chip or something emplanted in the T's brain or comms center (hence the "embedded") and is basically communicating from the future...

And since we all know Google Is Our Master Now, they will surely become SkyNet in the future - hence the use of Gmail to communicate Very Happy

no one knows.

One spec is that it is the Turk, now more advanced than in the show (2007). My personal space at this point is that given the description of the Turk v2 by Andy, it may be possible that the T's sent back were programmed to make contact with young Skynet and influence its growth and knowledge; much like we may recognize humans, even family members, the skynet 'imprint' from the future, per se, may put Turk v2 at ease with the T's, encouraging it to adopt the Skynet traits, becoming what we're now interacting with.

*shrug* man I love sci-fi Razz cut corners everywhere, just to make something believable, hehe.

Frankly the plot door is so wide open at this point, we could come up with numerous theories... unanswered question will (hopefully) get answered in time... right now, embrace the mystery Geek

Something similar to this was asked when Anna first encountered a terminator while at the site where the first camera, the one they based their tachyon camera off of, was found.

Since we know that resistence members have been sent back for some time now... with one sent back to the 60s to that he could assemble a means of escape, as well store the components for a bad ass weapon, in a bank safe...

It's altogether possible that Anna, herself, is a resistence plant. If not her, someone close to her who could have preped her from the beginning...

Otherwise she might have easily stopped Mike from filming and attempted to talk to the "man" who happened upon them at the camera site...

(my wild ass spec for the day)

Hey everybody!

I've been following both the ARG and the show from the beginning, and I love them both. I only joined just now, as I was looking back on some of the videos and noticed something.

In the video from Anna's apartment, right at the opening, there is some classical piano music playing. In the last episode of SCC, while the resistance members are being held in the house by that T-600, when taken to the basement, we hear classical piano music being played, but no description of whats going on in there.

I have no idea how this helps in any way, but I thought it was signifigant enough to point out.

Welcome RacerX! Very Happy

Oh yeah, I didn't notice that, I wonder if its connected with that scene also?

and I was looking at an angle that someone from Enitech might be a traitor, so I emailed Frank Bentley:
me wrote:
I believe that there's someone at Enitech that has been tipping off Skynet. I'm trying to narrow down my suspects. Who were the ones who know Anna's current location when she was attacked in her apartment? And who has been checking Enitech's email?

and got this reply:
Frank Bentley wrote:
It's not one of us Enitech. One of the traitors appears to be one of your crew. I'll let you know more as soon as we do.

I have faith in you guys that no one in here would do that, or is he talking about my screw-up? Shocked if it is then you can use me as bait to the terminators, I'd totally do it!
