I did, got the email address (societyofmusicSPLATgmail.com) and passed it to Simone, which I -guess- was all we were supposed to do?

Yeah, I DID, I sent them an email through craigslist and got their REAL email address (listed above) ... where's my troutstick when I need it ... Wink

I'm with the previous poster who said, "I'm really hoping for some content beyond music puzzles." The initial character development of Simone was interesting, but there's only so many music riddles I can stand. =[

I'm not sure how you can say either (a) we didn't follow it up or (b) we aren't creative. This is the order of events that led to the email:

1) we receive an anonymous email intended for Simone pointing to CLST ATL
2) we find the listing in Craigslist and email the owner of the listing
3) we get a response with a gmail address

... the next logical thing is to provide that email address to Simone. So we did. The email response from the gmail address does not give any indication there should be further contact, does not ask questions to be replied to ... merely says "thanks for adding to my research" and goes about its way.

Sorry to sound confrontational but I've spent the last week playing bulletin board Mafia games and "failed logic" posts like this just irk me.

ETA: I'm fairly sure of two things now. One, "shellwubsmatt" on the AD boards is in-game (she consistently gets REALLY close to answers but just misses) and two, the answer for Eight is

I got an email today -- thought it was a trailhead at first, but after looking it over closely, I realized it was for this game (that and the only way someone could have gotten that email address was off the Assassin Diaries site).

It was sent from a TMobile cell phone registered in Houston, TX.

The image is all that was included in the email. What I THOUGHT said "4K lost" is obviously L/K lost (Lady/Killer). Looks like VLN has our girl, and I got my 'more plot'.

{ETA}I just called the phone number, got no answer. Just a generic "Leave your message for ..." thing. The number is 832-876-9621, and the return email address is 18328769621SPLATtmomail.com.

The only concern I have is that it seems like the VLN has joined the Society (from his blog post). I'm hoping the SOM email isn't compromised.

Hi all! It's been a while since I've done an arg, but this is looking so fun I've decided to jump in with both feet!

I called the cell number and got the same text as wkelly42 later this morning as a response. I sent back my name and that I'm trying to get ahold of SoM.

Sent a message to societyofmusic, a pretty sedate one though, but no response yet. Anyone think it's important that the word friend in the picture is in all caps like SOM?

Anyway, I'll keep up with what contact I get.
