I'm pretty sensitive to that sort of thing, but we had a "leakage" at the Minneapolis screener on Monday as well.

I concur

I was at the Orlando screening last night. Someone lost it in the theater and another guy did in the bathroom on the floor. 3 of 4 of us got a little queasy. We were also sitting too close (not by choice theater was getting full). Sitting in the middle more and farther back may completely eliminate that...or it may not. I recommend sitting a little farther back if anyone is even remotely susceptible to motion sickness.

Eating mints helps. I don't know how, but it does. I get motion sick at IMAX movies but I just chomp some MintSavers and I'm okay.

How can people's stomachs be so weak that watching something will make them sick? I have never gotten sick from watching something, ever.

Its not their stomach that causes it, its their brain. Its induced by euphoria, which comes from the brain, not the stomach. Most people have no problem with this, but for some reason, which im not totally sure of, some people get induced euphoria, which causes motion sickness

Motion sickness is caused by mixed signals to the brain.
Eyes seeing one thing, fluid for your balance in your inner ear feeling something else.

It has nothing to do with seeing something that is offensive, scary, gross or suprising. Its not uncommon at all. Best answer is here.
