 		There's a lot to be excited about from that article, and some things that have me a bit curious.

For one, I really hope there's no sense of sympathy applied to the monster: I want that thing to be a freakin' lunatic. I'm sure he will be, and it's not like they can add violin scores to sad scenes of MGP getting bombs dropped on his head. It's just that the one thing I always loved about this movie was how *unforgiving* it seemed, and I don't want that to get lost.

The taped-over-prior-stuff is actually a very clever way to interject a larger human story into this. I'm not really worried about it: If they're going to cut away from a GIANT MONSTER DESTROYING THE CITY for that, I'm sure they realized just how well-acted and written those scenes absolutely NEED to be.

The mini-monster "parasites" sound good enough to me.

believe me, I fully believe in the parasite causing her to explode theory... but even I gotta admit, there's no pure proof given that they're the cause.

"Post birth ritual"???? WTF??? What a corny way to describe it.
I hope this isn't baby Godzilla here.

Parasites are fine but dog sized???? Come on...grab yourself a boom stick and go to town! Who the hell is afraid of a dog if you have a gun?

Monster is only seen a "few" times??? Sucks, makes it sound like half of a very short movie is running from dogs.

I like the dog-size idea... Mainly because everyone thought they were gonna be human size. You gotta take into account a few things:

1] they'll be fast, no doubt.

2] crab-like: they could have a had outer shell that protects them from 'boom-sticks.'

Also, If we only see 'Big Bad' a few times- remember- there's gonna be a toy... So we'll see all the 'Big Bad' we want.
