Oh, also:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
NO ONE SAYS "I saw it, it's alive, huge, bla bla"

ALTHOUGH, Jason, while inside the liquor store after the first attack, attempts to go outside and says "Rob, I saw it, it's alive"

But no "alive, huge" stuff

Where to start?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

As for inconsistencies with time, I completely agree that it's flawed there would be so much emphasis on 1/18/08 and the movie would say otherwise.

The name "cloverfield" IS NOT explained.
The "this is gonna be the best night ever" or whatever the line is, is also NOT in the movie (although that guy is in the movie).

I certainly didn't see any tentacles, although my girlfriend thinks she did. I think she mistook the tail as a tentacle.

The quantity of large monsters is debatable.
Here's why:
After the helicopter/B-1 bombing scene, crash, bla bla, Hud/Beth/Rob come out of the heli debris to which they find the monster standing over them, well, Hud in particular. This monster has these red, puffy, lung-like things on it's head (which is unseen in previous monster encounters).
This is a really good close-upshot of the monsters face. There's another really good close up of the monsters face when the army comes in probably 45 min into the film.

Also, there is no temperature reading on the first news prompt (I remember specifically looking).

I gotta catch up on these questions, also, I'm not online most of the time, so if I'm gone, I'll be back on here later tonight (Los angeles time) approx. midnight or so.

LC, you are a liar and a cheat. Nobody, I repeat, nobody other than those on the film classification board and those who made the film have seen the film.

You are trying to confuse us. There is no lungs on the head as seen in the new TV spot.

You have oddly dodged giving us an explination as to how the hell you saw the film anyway.

So unless you can prove this, I'm asking for a lock due to uncredibility. Locky!

Not wanting to spam this thread or anything, but to further illustrate my frustration with this film taking place in May, I'm going to be the first to call it:

Cloverfield as it appears in Theaters is OOG and a gamejack

As for "shedding" parasites, here's how it was depicted:
After robs phone dies (shortly after the bridge scene) him and hud go into an electronics store that is being looted. The TV's in the store show the monster walking around smashing, and yes, it does look like it rubs on the buildings and the little monsters fall off, but it doesn't specifically show the "rubbing" it just shows the little monsters curled up in balls falling off and "uncoiling" into "attack" mode

i second the lock. first off the cast and crew would have been there and honestly at a "paramount " screening it would not be made public and if by some fucked chance you got in you would have been made to sign a silent clause . and trust me we know PM reads this board and they would have your name on a list and find you a sue the fuck out of you for breach of contract. you are lying and this spoiler is shit.please admins lock it up so no more confusion.

Indeed there is no head at all in the new TV spot, it is not clearly seen. This may indeed be an actual review but no need for name calling with flimsy "evidence".

It's rightfully just that you and probably 95% of people reading this are skeptical.

I've never made any sort of intention to confuse anyone in the past, in fact, I barely follow this "game."

As for proof, why don't you call pararmount and ask for a print out of the attendees of last nights screening of the 7:30 screening of cloverfield, screen 5, on the main lot.

I'd like you to come back in a week and tell me I'm wrong.

Uh, yeah there is, MGP gets hit in the face with a missile and turns around, and stomps on a tank in his confusion

There have already been a good handful of screenings. This wasn't a "cast and crew hollywood premier type thing" it was a screening for friends and families, much like screenings that the Academy commonly has. In fact, I do believe the Academy is having a screening this weekend.

And you can see all this in that 1.2 second long clip? That isn't great quality?
