as much as i'm disappointed by this review (whether it be legit or not) the fact that LC took time away from her life to come on here and tell us the information she has (again, whether it be legit or not) shouldn't be met with such hostility and anger. yes, skepticism is alright, even i admit to being skeptical. but attacking an innocent OP who is either a) lying or b) has pulled a pretty big one over on most of the people in this thread, isn't worth it. just take a deep breath, take a step back from your computer and realize it's just the internet and it's just a movie we're going to see in a week anyway.

and, LC, if this turns out to be true, props for being the first person to give us a REAL rundown of the movie. and just be glad people weren't as mean as they were to "i love ponies" or that other guy who posted his bogus movie review.

I thought LC was a guy???

well,...that makes sense to how LC got an early screening to begin with!

incase you didn't get that ......."Flash"! lol

Oh you're female???

huh? uh uh!

They are arguing over whether or not that's the monsters LEG or TAIL. Not a mention of a face. Guess you can see anything in all that smoke.

wow, uhm, I have no idea why they're seeing a tail or a leg. lol

I had no idea why people saw tentacles in the Chuai videos, but they swore on their momma's eye's that they were there.

Of course, according to this review, and every other one, Chuai, Tag and this whole ARG means nothing.

This LC person is lying. While most of what she says is most likely accurate, I believe she just put two and two together. Then said the movie is based in May just to screw around with us.

Why is this fake?

Well, you don't have to look further then the first website we found regarding this movie, 1-18-08.com ... the pictures are dated 1/18/08....which are in the movie.

So LC, why not just spare the time and just say you just made this up to screw around with us? Abrams' and company arn't stupid enough to make this not be based on 1-18-08....... and the proof is not only in the viral stuff(the dates in which everything occurs), but the pictures themselves that are in the movie on 1-18-08.com have the same date on which it happened.....

Now again, I think you basically got it right.....but we just found out about everything you typed 6 hours before you created this thread.....

So yeah.....you just came up with a monster description....

Reeves said in an interview that 1-18-08 was never intended to be the actual date of the attack. They just used the date because that was the release date, and without a title there had to be someway to promote the movie online.

Yeah, I need to see where Reeves' said this...because its pretty damn important if you ask me. How would something like this just slip by without anyone noticing? I can forgive them if they actually said it in the past....but if not, we need an explanation NOW why they decided to have it based in May.

Ok, hold on, I'll go look

Here:

Regarding the date. From IESB's interview of Matt Reeves:

Quote:
IESB: The date had played such a huge role in the advertising. Is it true that if you to see this on the day it comes out, 1-18-08, the date in the film is actually that date as well?

Reeves: No, that's not true. The date has become because, again, we didn't have the title in the teaser and so that was a way of letting people know what it was. I think the two ways people referred to the movie where by its codename, Cloverfield, because there was knowledge of that, and just by the date. The reveal is really what happens in the story and the way it unfolds and the sort of mysteries in that world. The date is just the date we come out and when everyone gets to see the movie

Also, go back to page 15 of this very thread.
