The face is probably wrong, but is this how the arms are?

Yeah that's pretty good! Obviously some differences (more gangly, less pudgy), but that's the closest yet.

So, I see another happy reviewer has checked in tonight, and says you never see the monster.

when you say that, I can't help but think about Golem from "LOTR" just w/ a tail and some messed up arms.

You see him 7-8 times... just not in the way the real Mr Grumpy Pants seems to have wanted Smile. Like I've said, it's been hard to really describe because you don't get many clear shots at it, and Hud pans away many times when IMO I wouldn't have been able to keep my camera off the thing. it was one of my huge gripes as well... but yes, you do see it. Just very few times when he's not obstructed by things or from a distance.

Did anyone catch the whisper at the end of the credits?

I'm confident that a model figure of MGP will be coming out in the near future. I know for a fact that people were working on it two months ago, and I can only assume that they didn't stop. So if you didn't get a clear view of him in the movie, you will in due time.

Another review says, when you finally do see the monster, it looks like Pumpkinhead and Predator got drunk and made themselves a little love-child.

Yet ANOTHER description from another review:

Quote:
The monster looks like a more masculine version of Alien - with gills in its neck that expand like a frog's throat.

Does ANYBODY actually know what this thing looks like? Do we really not ever get a good look at it?

HELLS YES!!

After all credits roll, there is a whisper but people were yapping and I couldn't make out what it was saying.

And as far as Jamie being the girl passed out on the couch (expectedly so): I think it is her. That made the movie a bit more personal. I'm all in all happy with the movie for what it is and happy I followed the ARG/Viral Marketing.

I was at a screening in FL tonight. [/quote]

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It sounds like Rob saying "Help… us…" in a really weak voice, like he would if he was buried in rubble if he survived the bombing in Central Park. It would also clearly indicate that he may have survived.

I think I've said this before, but im not convinced Jamie was in the movie at all. There IS a blond girl passed out at the party and HUD kind of lingers oddly on her but it just ddnt look like Jamie to me. Maybe im the only who thinks, you're going to have to watch the movie and see for yourself on that part...sorry

O, and BTW, One of my first descriptions in this thread stated that MGP had a predator-like mouth. I never mentioned Pumpkinhead cuz i have never seen that monster before.

Can't wait to see this thing. But it seems that, from everyone's inability to describe it, that it's too weird for words.

Expect a suicide video from Jamie in the next two days. Wink
