sloman's old

ok... so lotsa folks been posting about how the push populace doesn't age (after the peter pan clue in ep4). then, why is sloman old? (granted, based on the pics from the 84 photo's). if you had access to the fountain of youth (to coin a phrase) wouldn't you be number one on your list for forever-young? what would the downside of staying young be? and please no 'sell you soul' lameness, sloman's already done that. Smile

If the fountain of youth just halts the aging process rather than reversing it, you'd be stuck at whatever age you were when you started taking the treatment. Sloman does seem pretty spry for his age, especially if he's the one who dug Wilkes's grave with a shovel upside the head, as speculated by those who noted that Sloman's golf club was left-handed, as was Wilkes's killer.

Maybe a side-effect of the anti-aging process is it turns your brain to compliant mush, and Sloman was too ambitious to put up with that?

oh, btw, my dad's 67, and can still work a farm tool or two pretty handily. he's not on any anti-aging serums that I'm aware of. lol... I'm guessing the sloman character around 50-something. unfortunately, I didn't get last ep taped, so don't have that info (b/d, etc.)

then the town'd be fulla mush-brain gen X-er's. oh, wait. that's the case world 'round. Wink

the folks, such as Delilah, being heralded as proof of such happenings appear fairly normal. what about, ya gotta die and be brought back by dr. quinny terantino, phd? now, that would suck.

My feeling is that Wilkes dug the grave (intended for Jim), and then when he was done, Sloman hit Wilkes over the head and threw his body in it.

Your post got me thinking......If you sold your soul to the devil, you would lose your soul when you die. Now if you discovered a fountain of youth....you could reap the rewards of selling your soul for a very long time (until you are murdered); beating the devil.

Selling your soul but never having to pay up (live forever) would be a no win / no lose situation----a 'push'.

Just some random thoughts your post envoked. Twisted Evil
