Ok.. below is how I used the "Red Dragon" Methodolgy to find the password..

more or less..

it's not totally pretty.. and I will be editing this post..

please bear with me.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

ok..
So... Using that code system.. on the Grey Room Page..
since it has 6 lines of text..

1st number is Line
2nd number is Letter
we get..

1.3 = V from "3 after 1."
1.28 = I from journal 1.28
2 14 = T from "2ml of substance 14"
2.17 = R from Journal 2.18 (2.18 is a TYPO.. should be 2.17)
3.3 = U from journal 3.3
3.14 = V from "14 after 3."
3.17 = I from journal 3.17
1.6 = A from 1.6180339887
???? = N from unknown at this time
6 1 = M from "All 6 into 1!"
6.11 = A from journal 6.11
6.14 = N from journal 6.14

So.. Yay!.. how cool is that?

Add all that in with all the other Hints poor Edwin has been giving.. it's quite obvious now.. hehehehehe

Razz

Good Job guys! *hugs*

I have and so have a few others. :<
And then Javaman goes and tells me "you can't make a word doc pass with a space" after it's figured out.
Awesomesauce.

LOL!

I personally think everyone in the group tried that password (seriously). We just somehow all did it incorrectly, whether with a space, misspelled (me!), or not adding 'man' on the end.

But hey, we -all- got the answer in the end. That's what matters. I think it's nice that we can laugh about it now. No need for anyone to feel stupid.

Well done, Javaman. I was about 300% further than I needed to go!

Thanks Doublecross, But the Credit Is hardly due to me Mainly to Valrik and Waitress for discovering it and to the group as a whole.

Lmao! I remember when we were talking about it and then waitress was suddenly like: it's open/that worked. And we were all, "WHAT?! OMFG, NO WAY." Hahaha.

ForumLurker was the one that said that the letters that he was finding were spelling out Vitruvian Man. That's why I tried it. Very Happy

I had nothing to do with the solution. I was still trying to apply the code that Clementine mentioned and also taking naps.

I think it was the naps that really gave us the little extra effort we needed to solve this. Thanks Naps!
