 		Checked with my husband who served on a Destroyer and he thought it looked like a Freighter. And the superstructure was jutting out of the water.

Now, he was on the Destroyer in Vietnam and said now they are making them boxier; but still felt it was a Freighter.

just my little tid-bit for the thread.

I was thinking, though, it looks more like the Japanese destroyers I've seen (not that I've seen them personally, lol, I'm no authority...just "seen", in general).

 		Woah Shocked ...Just found this I know its not in game but damn if the release of info for the ARG/ARE keeps syncing up with RL events I am going to declare JJ the next Edger Casey

(edit ) Just saw above post yeah I'd go with freighter the ship in the news article is a "Cargo" ship and the look almost identical

It that article, it says, "The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) said it needed to be assessed before it could be towed ashore."
So, if JJ's following reality, the 1-18-08 ship is probably still out in the ocean somewhere, unless it was destroyed near land.

Excellent news item. They do look like the same ship. (though, I doubt the article is IG, based on the location of the accident and fact that the page is a true news site.)

Is it possible this pic is taking place between Chaui and NYC? Wasn't Bermuda in between them?

Exactly! Every time there's a new pic, everybody freaks and tries to figure out what it means.

Maybe they don't "mean" anything, they're just pictures of what happened. And after the movie comes out (Officially) we'll have access to the whole file.

Yes! And we may then, get the whole backstory. Like the reanimation of the Monster etc. OR...maybe all of these "exhibits" (good word yes?) will be presented in some kind of case of WORLD VS. TAG....or....TAG vs TIDO...
