Just joined the website

I just registered in the site has BronzeGolem, and left my opinion on the grey's.

I don't think they will be very pleased, since I basicaly said the aliens think off us has nothing more them a National ( well in this case universal) Geografic tv show, that even if they see us has something more them a shaved monkey they wouldn't talk to us because they don't want a USA president in the future acuse them off having weapons off mass destruction, and that aliens who crash on earth, are just like in the majoroty off car crashes , drunk.

I can't wait to see if someone responds

I left them my adress, phone number and email, but sence i live in Portugal I would be REALLY surprised if they showed up at my door, or even phoned me for that matter.
In case anyone from the web site is reading this I dare you to phone me.
Well this probably won't work either but i had to try

I'm kinda thinking out loud here, but I wonder if it is going to make a game-play difference for the participants in this game, depending on how you vote on the case files. For example, I have voted bunk on both files so far, so I am thinking maybe I will have a chance to ally myself with "them", instead of Mr. CA. Isn't that kind of the way Deus City worked? Just thought I would see what you guys thought about that idea.

it seems were trying to string together the beeps, but has anyone thought that each beep can be associated with a musical note? and then we can string together the actual notes to maybe spell something?

idk the thought just came across when i was thinking about how to get the iwhbyd skull in halo 3, when you jump through these rings, each produces a note, jump thru them in a specific order to produce the halo theme song and bam youve got a skull.

im not goos with note association so if anyone is just give it a shot.

Half DTMF tones?

Just an idea: We should try to mix the sound tracks of the videos. The "beeps" may be "half" DTMF tones. One frequency of a tone in one file, the other in another file. The beeps do not match exactly - maybe they have to be shifted. Any sound engineers on board?

I'm mostly tone deaf, but I'll see if I can do anything with it with a sound editing program.
EDIT:
Does anyone know why it won't let me sign up??? This is really pissing me off. I keep putting in the same information, including my email, and then it won't let me log in!

I'm looking into it. I beleive the tones will lead to a phone number. I will let you guys know if I come up with anything.

We didn't determine anything from the beeps on the last two files. Here is the sound file from the video. If anyone thinks it is worth it, I can edit out the beeps and stringing them together.

Scootz, is there anyway you can pull the tones from the files, but space them out on the file, not strung together? That way I can get the right pin-pointed frequency's to identify a phone number. If so, much appreciated in advance.

I think this game looks interesting, and I'm very excited to play a game from the beginning (I tend to find them three seconds from the end). I signed up there too, with the same name.
Anyhoo, yea!

An odd occurrence, but it seems that a PayPal donation link has appeared on the right side of the website. I never played Deus City, so I don't know if this is a common feature on a Fundi Tech. game, however, it may be worth investigating, if it is indeed a character feature (however unlikely).

Searing: I just noticed that too.
Deus city was a graduate project, so I don't think that they could have charged for that (without getting SLAMMED by the IRB). This one is all Fundi, so I think that it is part of their "revenue scheme" (they need tot make money somehow).

I question their use of Google Ad-words however as it will mostly take us to crack-pot conspiracy sites, most of which the people who play ARGs are smart enough to see right through their fallacies. (of course sweeping generalizations). But I try to click on 1 or 2 ads each time I visit Wink

This is my first game, so maybe I'm seeing things. But is there any reason for that scrolling horizontal line? It seems to be more than an artifact, it looks like it is actually illuminating the part of the image that it is covering.

I dunno if that's normal youtube-ishness.

I'm guessing it was added on purpose; most YouTube videos don't have that.

Not sure about the significance, though.

In the videos for File #1 and File #2 Mr. CA shows the camera actual physical files. You know, with papers in 'em and everything. In both cases the files are RED.

The thing is, he's got a milk carton in both videos, and he's storing some or all of his files in it. Those files are not red.

Eyecrawl noted that neither File #1 or #2 contained anything that would have "gotten THEM real worked up." And he's right.

It's true that the color of the file on the CA website changes depending on how many votes, Prove or Disprove, have been cast. Red for Disprove, Green for Prove.

So if he shows us File #3 and it's Green, I say that's the one that got Them all worked up.
