I agree with you about the little girl holding the bottom corners of the arrows. I thought the exact same thing but never said anything. It looks like she is holding the corners. The whole thing is very creepy - can't imagine how they will twist it to be for the auto show.
Edited: and one last comment - worth as about all the other comments - when I think of "the general" I think of burt reynold's car the general in the movie Cannonball. LOL

Perhaps the general's north chamber refers to the north part of Grant park - Grant being President/General Grant...?

North Building if it is the auto show then the north building makes sense at mccormick place. i love this "cloverfield" stuff. i think it is either a movie or new car coming out.

Look in the top left at the GM next Symbol. It's the arrows.

Oh, well that's kind of disappointing. I was really hoping it'd have nothing to do with the auto show. Booorrring.

Yes, that is a good find - the first proof that ties it in to the autoshow. The photo of the little girl is still an odd campaign for an auto show.

I finally got to see the "new" commercial tonight where she gets the phone call. The phone shot went by too fast, but I did notice that they are pointing on a location on a map. Maybe if someone has Tivo, they can find out what location they are pointing at. It was aired primetime during the Celebrity Apprentice TV Show in Chicagoland area.

It's an interesting way to market something like this. It would generate more interest than a traditional ad. Still hoping it evolves into something bigger though.

maybe its just wishful thinking, but i don't think its for GM. correct me if i'm wrong but even with viral marketing there's usually a known product being advertised right? with the seeitnext commercials there's nothing to see, it just makes the consumer wonder. although all the commercials, besides the first one, are becoming less and less ARGish to me. but maybe that's because the first was so damn creepy.
oh well, i still have my fingers crossed for an arg.

The two arrows symbol is always used to indecate fast forward (Like on DVD players) and the whole thing is about the future so mabe there's a time travel element to it.
Even if it is just about a car show its got me intrested.

the phone on the commercial is distinctly a motorola. also in the commercial don't they use the words "curtain" and "trailhead"? if they're advertising for a new car debut why use those keywords?

SeeItNext So what if it is for a car... maybe there IS a game to be played. Plus with a whois out of state, this thing could be big.
last night I saw a shot with a bum holding the arrows on a bridge...

What do you mean you saw a bum holding the arrows on a bridge. Was it on television or in real life.
