Well, Ian, with the all due respect, I doubt many could argue that he didn't have it coming. He's being extraordinarily defensive and it would seem he has his reasons, and, as is often the case, he's acting like a brat and a very sore winner.

Heh, oh -and if I happen to get a runner-up prize (and I'll be the first to say I wouldn't be surprised if I hear nothing) I'm not touching this thread with a ten foot pole. Laughing

I'd probably just post something on my youtube account and those who care to find out, will.

Congrats are given where congrats are due to those who deserve it. You know who you are.

If it is time for this thread to wither on the vine...that's cool. I would, however, like to follow up once the prizes start hitting doorsteps. We all need to keep in mind that Slusho has been incredibly incommunicado by design. They just don't contact you unless they have to. My feeling is that everyone who submitted a commercial will get an email asking for your address so they can mail out your runners up prizes. But we will see I suppose. Maybe someone can start a new thread dedicated to making that "thank you to Slusho" video once the prizes have arrived.

I am open to anything. However you all want to go about this is fine with me. I did have an idea and would like to know what y'all think. Someone mentioned that it would be cool to put together one big video featuring all of us saying thanks to JJ Abrams and Slusho. I love this idea. Very cool! I have never been involved in something like that but I am game. So here's my idea...

What if we challenge ourselves, kind of like what went on for the contest. Set a few parameters. Not to restrict us, but to challenge our creativity again. It will also help keep us on message. We can all agree on the rules but I will throw out some ideas to get the ball rolling. How about...

1) You should thank JJ Abrams

2) You should thank Slusho

3) You should thank the others who entered the contest for all their hard work and creativity.

4) Introduce your actors and yourselves.

5) Uphold the Slusho myth. Pretend it is real. Let's confuse the hell out of the people who may see this. Very Happy

6) Limit your video to one minute. Youtube has a ten minute limit so if we have more than ten groups interested we will have to cut down that time accordingly.

7) Be creative. What the hell. We did some cool stuff for the contest. Let's keep our creative juices flowing for this deal too.

As far as putting the final video together, whoever feels comfortable doing so should go for it. Any of you guys up for it? I don't want to step on any toes so I will differ to anyone here. But if you want, I would be happy to do it. I would just take your video file, drop it on a timeline in Final Cut Pro, and export the master file as a quicktime movie (.mov).

So what do you all think. Wanna do it? Very Happy
