off topic warning

Sure TBWP showed nothing, but that was kind of the point. Considering it was 1998, how could they have shown the witch and it not be horribly cheesy? The noises, the bundle, the basement...what my mind creates whenever I watch that movie is a hell of a lot worse than what they could have shown.

I agree with her though that I'm not comfortable drawing comparisons. The only thing the two movies have in common is the filming style.

Sorry for that.

That is true. TBWP would have been crappy had it shown the witch.
