barenai you ni means to not let anyone know basically.... either not to show people or not let information leak...
I dont even know what was said before because it was covered up and its hard to translate it out of context...

and one of your previous pages...
"nara... shine..."
should be
"Then... Die!"
in response to Kishin-kun's response earlier

translating from a dictionary isnt the best idea with manga... they use a lot of slang and colloquial terms... ^^'

Not when it's written by Americans who want internet nerds to translate it.

P.S. My translation can be in some ways lame. So please if you find some mistakes, feel free to write it, I'll correct my translation.
P.P.S. And sorry for my miserable English: just know, I'm just little humble Russian, living in Germany and translating this weird stuff from Japanese into English.
P.P.P.S. Please note the reading way: firstly read the right site, after that the left site. It's Japanese manga (even if the flash control is weird: clicking on the "right" arrow you scroll in the left direction).

Нет, нет. Это очень, очень хорошо, kosmopol! Большое спасибо! You Rock! Rock On

P.S. Now I've to go. Perhaps after a little break I'll continue.
P.P.S. Dear arienai, thank you for corrections, I'll fix them.
P.P.P.S. And at the evening I'll ask my girlfriend about translations. She's Japanese and otaku (no, not really otaku Smile)

Ok what do we got so far???

Ok looks like kids fighting....then a disaster drill, then kid looks freaked out and last is a scene of him/her/them looking out of the window over the ocean. Kinda ominous....I wonder if MGP is a kids science experiment gone horribly wrong! j/k...I got nothin'.

It looks like I wasn't far off earlier.

The cover is the monster awakening, being dragged and is from his perspective. The monster is not the squid.

The story starts in the boys room where kids are forcing a kid to stick his head in a bucket for longer and longer times to see how long he can hold his head under. Perhaps he already has a reputation as a good diver? They are betting on how long he can go.

They want him to do 2 and 1/2 minutes but he's afraid he might die and the others could care less. They decide to tie his hands so he can't pull himself out early and then as a joke make him bare like when swimming and remove his pants. He drops his wallet and gets beat down when he attempts to retrieve it.

When they remove his pants one person tosses them to another but it goes over his head and into the hands of a girl, Aiba or Aiko.
She says this is in bad taste and unties him and gives him his pants back. The mean kids get mad, tell her to butt out and start to fight with her and then a Disaster Drill comes over the intercom so everyone starts to leave the school. It's a false alarm though and everyone comes back. Aiko, Aiba leaves and the mean kids come back and it's seems the drill has given them an idea and they now intend to lock the kid in a emergency shelter, which we see later they have done.

The tanker panels are self explanatory and a fleet of ships is towing something to TAG HQ.

After the tanker the kid is shown locked in the shelter and a picture causes him to flashback to when his was younger.

The kid is Ganu for sure. I really do think Kishin is the nickname the mean kids gave him. I think it is meant as Recess and he got this name because he is what the mean kids "do" at Recess.

Aiko is the girl who takes pity on him for sure. Aiko means Love Child.
One of the mean kids call her that when trying to get the kids pants back.

Aiba is a little confusing. It's hard to tell if the kid is calling the girl that or the girl is saying "Oh Aiba" to the kid as he is pitiful.
But Aiba may be a nickname too as it means Favorite Horse.
Perhaps we just found out why there is a pony on the Slusho! site.
The animals represent nicknames given to Ganu by friends or his Mom?

Page 10 of the manga really strikes me as being Toshiki Yui's style. I'm only saying this because I read an article which mentions that a Google search for the supposed artist of the comic book, "Yoshiki Togawa," comes up blank, which leads me to believe that it's a fake name.

Searching the artist's name in Japanese, however, yields a few results from the manga magazine Shonen Gangan. Other than that, I can't find any images of the artist's other work, or any information on the artist. I'm surprised that there wouldn't be any other credits on the Kadokawa website. Usually they at least mention previous manga magazines that the artist worked for.

By the way, the artist's name is TOGAWA (東川) Yoshiki (祥樹)--last names first in Japanese.

Here is an article from Anime News Network, telling us not much more information...

This is fascinating...

This is fascinating. It certainly feels like it's playing out to something from the movie. Very curious to see where this is headed. If it is, in fact, the ships from the pics we've seen, then TAG must have one hell of a fleet of ships at their disposal.

Thank you all for the translation, those that can. I'm dead in the water without the translation.

No pun intended, of course. Smile

Don't forget that Bold Futura has a lot of confidential clients with DEEP pockets. Perhaps to keep that confidentiality, Tag built a fleet of ships to deliver their goods on their own, to make sure there were no "loose lips". We still don't know what types of machinery/weapons/whatever Bold Futura makes - could be anything. Wonder if MGP isn't a "product" some rich crazy asked for Tag to "develop" for their own use....

From readign the synopsis posted above, this my theory. IDK if the kid Ganu. I think they are towing the monster and it breaks off. The only reason they would have adisaster drill is to preprate them for the monster, seeing is that they might have found it and aking it back to Tag HQ and if it gets loose to have a disaster drill to evacuate the city immediatley like in Godzilla. that is my theory.
