 		Maybe this is meant just to be read by people in Japan? maybe this is there ARG before the film is released there. I am not to sure when the film will be released in japan tho. Isn't that a lot of shit to be translated??

Euchre, it wouldnt matter, hed tear the bait line free and i dont see any net big enuff to hold him without him tearing through it

sounds good to me, I agree that this is to much traslation to be apart of our american ARG. Either this is only meant for Japan readers and is apart of their ARG or backstory, or this is going to be an official ongoing comic in Japan cause its very well made and legit...Either way. I dont think this has anything to do with our ARG, its just to much translation and not enough time.

 		Sorry if I said trolling. Trolling is a way to fish too but I meant trawling.

As far as nets there are a fleet of ships pulling this thing so they have plenty of horsepower. The nets used for trawling are usually made of steel cables, not netting, plus these are being reinforced by chains so it would carry a great weight easily. Similar the the way cables are used to lift things with cranes.

Exactly. The target group of manga is only Japanese audience. They make in Japan own marketing project with that professional manga (perhaps they'll do something more about it, I'll report it here, because I follow - as far as I can - international marketing of Cloverfield).

I find it's cool, like the faked news: every country has its own perspective and marketing project.

What a pity, in Germany, besides of MySpacePreviewTicket and cool flickering website, there aren't any cool marketing projects of Cloverfield...
