i really am trying to understand this whole time issues and have got no answers.
The movie is supposably taken place in may?
Why are the photos on the 1-18-08.com have a time Stamp of 1/18/08??
When is Ganu Supposably going to NEwyork?? On 1/18/08 (today)
or has i happened already thinking that we are in may ???

Think of the time like this. Today, 1/18/08, is the day the military found the camera. This would mean that this all happened last year. Just think that we are starting the year 2007 over again and all this takes place this year with the military finding the video next year.

Siffblu, that still doesn't explain any of the ARG. I posted this in another thread, perhaps it was the wrong one. Here's my theory/conclusion:

It's still realtime, but the attacvk was never meant to be on January 18. Maybe the ARG ain't over. Thats what the Tag article's trying to tell us; sure, Ganu was in NY on 1-18-08, but the only attack that he sustained was from TIDO. There's just too many loose ends and inconsistancies, right?:
*Rob's not Vice President, just Marketing VP. Maybe that job fell through, or he got fired, but in May, he gets another job offer. After all, we never heard of no steenking party of myspace...
*Rob and Beth didn't date. He's just courting her. For now. Maybe this April, they'll do the bad thing.
*Jamie and Teddy. TIDO Wave. Slusho! and Seabed's Nectar. WTF??? In time, the answers will come.
And then maybe on May 22, the ARG will end, and the DVD will be released, will a few answers in there as well....
The game has only just started.

 		I noticed that the timestamps have stopped being a part of the images. I suspect that the older images may loose their timestamp at some point. There is definitely a continuity failure in that, I just wonder if that was intentional and something of a sacrifice or a total misstep.

If the title isn't tagged when this post is all loaded, i'll go ahead and slap the [SPOILER] on it.

 		Let's say that the ARG timeline is a mistake or whatever... but not meant to be the real 'now' and instead the april/may 'now'...

What is the significance of the date in which the movie took place???

 		Not sure, but I am confused that it was Saturday May 23. Looking at the calendar May 23 falls on Friday.... Saturday May 23 is in 2009.

 		I think that the myspace profiles and jamie videos take place with the timeline of today as the attack date (may whatever) and the rest of the events take place with today as 1-18 and the attack taking place this coming may. unless there just happens to be a party on 1-18 and one in may then this is the only way it makes sense. and the other way only makes sense if the PMs are just fucking with us
