Hey NOFXfanboywhatever: You understand this movie is being told through the handheld camera of someone TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THE MONSTER, right?

I don't imagine HUD running up to the monster and getting it from different angles, and in different lighting.

HUD, Snapping pics of MGP:

"OOO, yeah, give it. Now give me angry! Angrier! Yeah! Destroy me! Come on! Come on! Yeah baby! Yeah, yeah!!

I've worked with better, but not many. Thank you."

No dipshit, I just spent the last 87.2 minutes in a dream world with 400 other people, watching "First Sunday".

No need to be harsh, he's obviously pissed off. To be fair, in his defense... Hud has MANY chances to get a clean shot at the creature and he seems to be more interested in taking shots of Army equipment, soldiers firing, and in two frustrating shots... his friends. It's my biggest gripe about the film. If you are standing a block away from something getting shot at are you going to watch the guy shooting, or the thing getting shot?

Your humor is poor, which explains why you think "The Office" has great acting. If you love "The Office", then maybe I'll like "Cloverfield." Bleh.

Also guys, for those who aren't impressed w/ the lack of the monster's appearance- THERE'S GONNA BE A TOY, so you can buy it and stare at it allllll day if you'd like.

and is it so hard to believe that NOFX saw the movie? I mean, when it comes to this style of movie- you're either gonna like it or you're gonna hate it- no inbetweens. The fact is- people are gonna hate this movie because it's not built like other movies. It only matters what you think about the movie.

it's really hard to prove you've seen this film when there are so many reviews up.

But yeah, could very well be someone causing some noise to fluster people. But having seen it, I promise you some of you will likely fee very much the same for the reasons both he and I list.

In a situation like that? Honestly? I wouldn't stare at the fucking monster. Why? Because we as humans have this feeling that when we're looking at someone/something they can see us too, or feel that we're watching them/it. If I saw a gigantic creature in front of me, I would NOT be filming it. I'd be too afraid. I don't blame HUD.

This is going to sound hypocritical. I " Liked" the movie. I will buy it. I do not buy it as a "MONSTER" movie. It's a nice story about love lost and found through adversity, that were told is caused by some huge monster. By the way, tell me I didn't see it. To quote Hud "What is it, do you think it was made by us, like our government?" He was the best part of the movie.

Why the fuck would you make a thread about this movie being a peice of shit, then say you liked it. Couldn't you have just said:

"I liked the movie, but I'm pissed they didn't show the monster".

It would have been a lot better then:

"OMG WTF JJ SUX DICK OSHOIAHOAH NO MONSTER BLAH BLAH BLAH"

Which made it sound like the whole movie blew.

You sir are a tool.
