No need to be harsh, he's obviously pissed off. To be fair, in his defense... Hud has MANY chances to get a clean shot at the creature and he seems to be more interested in taking shots of Army equipment, soldiers firing, and in two frustrating shots... his friends. It's my biggest gripe about the film. If you are standing a block away from something getting shot at are you going to watch the guy shooting, or the thing getting shot?

While I do think Nofx needs to calm down, I totally understand. This is the first time I've heard that you don't see the monster; and while I understand WHY you don't see it, the whole thing drawing me into the film was the "money shot" (not like that, perverts), the shot, close or far, in which we can see the monster.

But after 90 minutes and nothing but the thing's shoulder in between two buildings... that would tick me off too. Argh.

All this wait for something that may no longer meet my expectations. Sad

I'll try to keep an open mind, though.

it's not that... c'mon- 'booing?' I mean have a bad experience w/a movie all you want, whatever- I know you're just one person, so it's not the overall summary of this movie... but 'booing?' what's more- the poor delivery to us about the movie. I mean, you're stating your OPINION like it's the overall judgement of the movie.... and it's not. Tact is a good thing to have if you really want what you say to REALLY be taken seriously...

Just a little reference to the movie Starship Troopers. Pretty much the same thing happens in that movie, and people have been pointing it out as a "MAJOR SCREWUP" for years now.

It sounds like Matt Reeves should have been a little more subtle about whether or not we see the monster... He makes it sound like we get a positive full on shot of the monster. If us fans are let down- it won't be because of the ARE/ARG or the amount of time we spent on this movie- it'll be his over-exaggeration of how much you actually see of the monster.
