Absolutely. Thank you for making me not feel like a crazy person.

All this talk about a Japanese guy had me on the lookout for him the whole time. When the guy appeared on the screen, I pretty much knew it was the random guy in question. I stared at him the whole 7 seconds he was up there going, "that guy really doesn't look OR sound Japanese" I really thought it was my eyes... but I guess not.

So i was watching cloverfield at 145 tonight and can say that I am both very pleased and very disappointed. Although the monster was just about the coolest looking monster I have seen in sometime (granted it is very outlandish but thats what makes it so cool), they should have shown more of him. The idea of the "BWM" (blair witch method) throughout the whole movie just kinda fell short. If they can manage to plug MOUNTAIN DEW! and NOKIA throughout the whole goddamn movie why cant we have a full fledged view of the monster that lasts for more then 30 seconds? Any way im getting off track, I am here to confirm that the ?UFO? that crashes into the water can be observed in the top right hand corner of the screen to the left of the tanker in the ocean. It is immediatley after the camera cuts from Beth and Rob post BOOM/ Coney island Happy time is shown merely to show that glimpse of SOMETHING?!?!? crashing into the water.

And yes i did use the search feature here i still didnt fint what i was looking for.

This is one of the reasons why i love and hate the internet. LOL, I have been reading so much stuff people have this tied into the movie some how, i figured if i missed that russian dude in the movie i must have missed this.

Oh yeah - the Chaui collapse. That station can be identified on the website
where the previous links I gave you are found - Tagruato is the parent

 		So I didn't necessarily catch the splashdown at the end of the film, but I didn't expect to be so thrilled with anxiety through it all. Wow.

As to the idea that Tagruato and kaitei no mitsu have 'nothing to do with the film' going back again to my analogy of saying a lawn of grass has nothing to do with home ownership because it doesn't grow in the house - we see the Tag logo on a freaking tanker that's on fire by the SoL, TWICE. We see Hawk wearing the Slusho shirt several times, clearly. Slusho contains kaitei no mitsu - and that's enough of a connection to say they are related. Just because they aren't explained in the context of the film doesn't mean there's no relationship. I guess some people just have to have it all spoon fed to them, eh? Cool

I forgot to bring a notepad, but frankly I'm glad I didn't. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. There wasn't just some predictable sequence to follow so you knew when you could just look away for a second.

Is it just me or did the timestamp at the very beginning show the year, and that it was 2007?

That would mean that what's happening on MySpace now may be meant to be timeshifted, as might the events from the other sites and sources we're seeing. Our little ride with this viral campaign might not yet be over.
