JJ Abrams on Bob & Tom this morning!
JJ talks 'Cloverfield' and 'LOST'

The interview was pretty short, but I've been sitting here patiently all morning waiting for it... Mostly stuff we know already, but still neat to check out.

JJ said the goal is for Cloverfield to feel 'real', and the whole premise is to fit into the 'YouTube generation'.

He cast actors we haven't seen (much), so it isn't distracting.

Now about MGP:

Neville Page was the first person hired on the movie. His job was to come up with something that doesn't feel like a retread. JJ wanted something terrifying, huge, and menacing.

Bob then asks if the monster can have a sequel - and JJ doesn't say no... in fact, he says that "We'll see if people like this one."

He then goes on to talk about LOST, and how they already have the end of the series, so they are gonna fill in the middle.
