What is MGP? ARG? ARE? Help!

MGP = Mr. Grumpy Pants (a name given to the cloverfield beast by a member of these forums)

ARG= Alternate Reality Game (This one is hard to explain i'd Wikipedia it)

ARE=(Not to sure on this one but i'll take my best guess) Alternate Reality Events (The events that occur in a TV show/movie/other medium that affect the ARG)

And as for PWNED it was made up by someone because it's like owning someone by a whole 'nother letter. JINX has just recently developed a shirt that says QWNED which is being PWNED by another whole letter

The Glossary has some other definitions that might help.

By the way, ARE = Alternate Reality Experience. It is like an ARG, but the players all get the same responses and the play is pretty linear - we don't affect the story (see "TLE, The Lost Experience").
