more arrrg than arg but hooked me anyway

Just want to say thanks for the great diversions. Although I have tried to curb my addictive nature by not joining in this spool of threads, I have been a frequent troll and have enjoyed the epic. Thanks for all the time and effort put into this community.

So, as long as I'm here, my thoughts for anyone's amusement...

Back in November I thought this was an incredible idea- to create a story and hide it in the ruins of the virtual world to be discovered bit by bit by the clever, the lucky and the diligent and pieced together in forums. Look at "Hidden Treasure II" - a fairly crap movie that was #1 box for three weeks- people love treasure hunts! But it was either never the intention or it just didn't work that way-(but Paramount got what it wanted.)

The turning point for me was when the TIDOwave memo with the swiss army knife never was deciphered. I came to realize that this was not a game but just another teaser trailer strung out across time and the net. However, by that time I had become hooked by Dennis' CC site and some of the posters on here.

So thanks again. You have built community. Pointless, juvenile and inane -sure -but it had integrity and respect and that will heal the world. Enjoy the flick...
