I didn't get to record anything in the theater, but I did see it and the forwards recording posted here does represent pretty well what I could hear of the very end. I did grab that and extract the audio, and reverse it myself. Yes, it says what they say it does, no mistaking it. I'll listen again when I get to see the film again in the theater.

Now I can say as a fact, I have heard this. If anyone is interested I used GetFLV to rip the audio from the original FLV on imageshack and used Audacity to reverse the audio.

Does anyone have a link to the earliest net posting of the idea that there is a hidden message the ending audio when it is played backwards? It seems like it would be very hard to get a clear audio recording on a device that you would beable to sneak into a movie theatre. If this idea could be trace backed to being leaked from the studio it is probably more than speculation.
