 		 [SPEC] ARE/ARG/Video Game is Cloverfield Sequel
From available data and speculation.
It is possible with the current discussions of a sequel, even though the film is barely warming the bulbs on the projectors, that the backstory all of the reviewers are asking for is on the way. It only seems right.

There are still unanswered questions to even us Cloverheads. The biggest is the origin of the monster. And thanks to the non-tagging noobies on this board, the monster has an odd shape to it

If you really ponder, there is an immense opportunity for production and advertising. I am positive we will be seeing more TAG related story lines. The comic book is cooked and being served up. SLUSHO! will more than likely be a marketable product and the Video Game will no doubt be on the way.

Exciting to say the least for us ARG-ers.

 		I missed your butt flag, Mr. Star. I crack a smile every time I see it.

As for the ARG/ARE continuing, I think there are some things that point towards YES, and some that point towards NO.

The two big things that point towards NO for me are TIDOwave's last post and Jamie's last video. Dreadful as they are, they both sound like "Goodbyes" to me.

But the two big things that point towards YES are the manga--come on, it was badass, and it says TO BE CONTINUED and promises an update in February--and the

audio track at the end of the credits that says "Help...us..." forwards, and, "...it's still alive..." when played backwards.


Worst case scenario: Nothing continues. J.J. Abrams retires forever in the Caribbean.

Good scenario: The game continues. We get the full backstory. We label TIDOwave and Tagruato good guys or bad guys, respectly. Most of our questions are answered, etc.

BEST SCENARIO: The game continues, and one word: SEQUEL.

 		I hope there's a sequel, some years ahead, in the form of a movie rather than a game that continues the story. Maybe other group of guys that survived the ones here and living enough to see the final hours of the beast in the city, independently if it escapes into the sea or gets killed by the army or navy.
