While the bootleg IS dark... (it was actually just two clips I found on youtube.) Its still good enough for comparisons. You can't deny that every one of those scenes matches up to the ONE model of the monster.

Also, we still have yet to see an answer to why they said "Some THING has found us.", "Whatever IT is, IT's winning.", "SomeTHING terrible.", etc... I never heard mention of multiple monsters WITHIN the movie.

Also, if you say "well, how could that one monster be everywhere at once?"... The thing stands 25 stories high when on all fours, think about how FAST that thing could move. One step for it is like, 100 feet or something.

Not to mention the ever-obvious fact that the camera is off and on throughout the movie. It seems a little surprising at first that the monster could throw the SoL head and minutes later be at the bridge.....but a LOT of time passed between the shots.

And, what, Rob and company teleported to the Brooklyn Bridge? I imagine it took them a while to get there, too, and our antagonist certainly moves a helluva lot faster than they do.

WOW... He was arguing for the fact that it DIDNT take them short of a time... you seemed to leave the 2nd half of that statement out of the quote.

I fixed it for you.

Ummm, at least read the entirety of my post before you shoot it down. I said exactly what you did in the latter half.

OK, so I misread it. Sorry, was busy coordinating an attack on San Francisco with Skynet. Misreads happen with that much stress!

So is that toy set up exact size? Like is scaled down to the right size.

Monster to building to cars?

Not if the monster is on the same scale as the parasites, because they are far too large compared to the vehicles on the street.

I dunno...

I'm not convinced the toy is up to scale. That tail seems way too short (could be just the angle though). That thing that swiped the bridge was easilty confused for a tentacle of some sort and it seemed really long, but if it's as short as I'm thinking the monster would have had to have been sticking up out of the water to get that swipe in...

On the other hand, in retrospect, why would he even tail swipe a bridge from deep under the water? Besides looking cool or "because he did" I can't really think of a good reason...

If JJ hadn't said that it was his tail in the production notes (which he did if i'm not mistaken), i would have believed that to be one of his long ass arms.

Mr. Page (basically the creator of MGP) acknowledges size and scale changes throughout the movie, to "suit the particular moment or narrative".
