 		Character biographies based on chatlogs
OK folks, I noticed two things over the last few days. One, long chatlogs are hard to read. Two, people were repeating a lot of questions, and forgetting previous answers, while talking to Reggie, and this made him angry. So I decided to go back through all the chatlogs, and gather all the relevant information into one place. All of that appears here. I also have it stored in a document and will keep it updated. I figure this will be a nice way of having consolidated information when takling to Reggie or playing the game in general, to make sure we don't start from square one every time, and tick him off.

Plus, it might just serve as a nice quick-reference for the PMs to make sure they don't have contradicting statements... Smile

If I missed something, or you think something I state here is inaccurate or not necessarily confirmed, please just let me know and I'll revise...


Reggie / Hexeditor / Minesweeper / xover222:

Approximately 29 years old male.
Lives in a mental hospital.
Cannot reveal his location.
Takes clozapine for schizophrenia, because he "hears things".
Has been on medication for a few years.
Does not trust himself while medicated.
Hears "voices, sounds, beeps, my chess pieces talk to me sometimes".
Likes games: chess, hexic, and scrabble.
The chess pieces tell him where to move, but "aren't very smart".
Likes pudding - comes on the snack cart when he hears the "squeaky shoes" (guards) bring it: they hold the keys and are mean to Reggie when he is bad (beatings?)
Says that "resetting the pieces [of the board] will not help".
Has more information than he reveals, but was forbidden from sharing it by Red Knight.
Goes to the hospital library frequently to use the computer there.
Not allowed phone calls or packages.

Does not know where Jake is.
Played chess with Jake through Yahoo - Jake won every game, but taught Reggie strategy.
Has never met Jake in person.
Has no relationship with Meg at all (God forbids it).
Sought out Jake when he found out he was accepted to NRU.
Has not played (or heard from?) Jake since Thanksgiving 2002.
Thinks Jake is "nice".
Was not yet in the hospital during the time he played Jake in chess.
Used to live in Tucson.
Does not have a passport.
Talks to God everyday except for some Saturdays.
Is skeptical that Jake is lost in time.
Believes that Jake "ran" from the Black Knight.
Trusts the Red Knight.

Red Knight / Caretaker / T. Jones:

Is male.
Is going to help Jake.
Is smarter than Reggie.
Comes and goes as he pleases.
Knows when God is around, and keeps Reggie safe.
Is NOT God.
Is NOT part of SPECTRUM.
"Found" Reggie after he ran.
Knows Reggie's secret - he knows what he did and found what he left behind, and "used" what he found, too.
Tells Reggie what to do.
Is well educated, but Reggie doesn't think he went to college.
Reggie says he is a "digger: he finds things, he knows things".
There are a number of people looking for him, by contacting Reggie: they have come to him appearing as "colors" and as "Norse Gods" (screennames?).
Comes to see Reggie when God is not there.


White Knight / Jake Starkey:

Studied and played chess.
Was much better at chess than Reggie: "8 moves ahead of him".
Lives in Tucson..
NOT part of SPECTRUM.
Likes to talk about Meg.


God / Doctor:

Reggie is paranoid about him.
He works for the State.
Knows Reggie talks about him, and doesn't like it.
Takes away Reggie's "room privileges" when he's mad (no chess).
Doesn't like that Reggie hears voices.
Drives Mercedes.
Is bald.
Doesn't work on Sundays.
From Reggie: "he runs my universe now. when i eat, when i sleep, when i get to do what i wish".
Has a silhouette of a coyote on his front license plate.
Has multiple patients: wheezy, shouter, sobby, Reggie, and new guy.
Watches Reggie and tracks Reggie via camera / keystroke logger (suspected).


Black Knight:

Wants to be "King".
Found the purge log.
Found the letters Red Knight told Reggie to post.
Made Jake run.
Made the lawyers flee.

3. Attach my .doc file to that thread

And I hope not having it in paragraph format (like dramatis persona) is won't be a big problem. I might rewrite it into a more readable format later, but for now I figured having the hard data ASAP was highest priority...

For now, there's a link to here. If the mods want to move the message over, the link can be deleted easily enough. Sorry about not putting it there in the first place, the reason I didn't is because it wasn't all tidied up like Magesteff's bio's, it seemed pretty raw and unconfirmed...

Like yours, it is a work in progress. I think I have edited it about 5 times now, and more to come as we have more revealed.
