 		First time to post here and everyone may think this is stupid but has anyone seen this.

The date of the convention seems famaliar. May 23

 		Nice catch on that Saturday thing... I'm thinking this has to be 2009.

But now I'm confused... didn't Rob say he's leaving in the middle of January? Or did he say the middle of the month. I'll have to check. If that's the case, then I think the only explanation is that the events of the ARG are like supposed to be in the months of April and May (2009) or whatever as some have suggested. I just think that's so stupid.. why not just make everything happen in January 08? Unless they wanted to leave room for a prequel? =)

Rob that's crazy! How soon would you have to leave?

i really don't think we have to pretend for any of the dates.
theres something going on and i'm sure jj abrams or whoever did the virals would let the dates which played so many parts in the websites to be flawed. We just gotta be patient and wait to check the myspace pages/jamie and teddy/tido/tagruato etc. in a few days or maybe weeks?

I agree with that. All the discussions leading upto the going away party on the myspace blogs combined with, well the going away party at the beginning of the movie, suggest they were supposed to coincide.

For whatever reason, they probably moved up the release date after filming, but still had this whole ARG plan in place.

I would love it, as someone who just sadly learned of the whole ARG thing a couple of days ago, if it were to still continue.
