Sweet! I'm guessing if they do make one It'll be out by at least the end of the year or in 2009, since this one took such a short time to make. It doesn't sound that great, but if JJ and Matt can pull THIS movie off, they can sure as heck make a equal or even better movie than this.

I like the idea of it being the same attack, just a different angle. I mean, the first one could simply be a rough run by so that way the writers/director/J.J. Abrams could get a feel for what the crowd wanted to see more of, so that way- in the next one, they'll make sure to add it.

More [better] Clover shots, more smaller creatures.

I loved Cloverfield because of what it was... It was a movie based around the people in a horrific incident. now lets put some more emphasis on the monster/parasites.

I think they alredy have the second movie. They Shot them at the same time. Some of the set info we saw way back when doesn't match up with some scenes in the movie. They were filming the friends point of view for this movie and Filming the overall point of view for the second.

Alot of thing point to this Theory. But I am sure alot of Ya'll will flame me.

Stealth, you are correct. about 5-8 months we'll have a big surprise. they've already filmed it, and are waiting for reviews/feedback on how to finish the second, hence what people want more of.
