The texts is translation from tagruato.jp, with some Russian related content - about manufacture near Sankt-Peterburg and about Slusho's falvour, special produced and combined for Russia.

I've just written to Gospodin Polekleverov about Tagruato. I wonder what he'll answer me, hehe...
My humble writing wrote:
Уважаемый господин Полеклеверов,
Я давно наблюдаю за плодотворной деятельностью корпорации "Тагруато". Меня интересует, когда начнется производство напитка "Слашо"?
Если Вы планируете открыть интернетный портал, посвященный Тагруато, я с удовольствием помогу с веб-реализацией, переводом или дизайном.
С уважением,
Влад Алекс
I wanna help him with webdesign etc. I'm not waiting for an answer. But at least, the email is valid.
P.S. If it's realy not a hoax, the marketing team in Russia wasn't really innovative with the names, though...
P.P.S. I added him to my vkontakte-account. I wonder, if there'll be some developments.

The LJ was created on February 9th, so my guess is it's OOG, maybe made by someone who saw a preview screening and decided to do it in Russian because of Russian Guy On Street.
Basically, unless it's linked to by a site we know is in-game, assume it's not in game if it's been created after the teaser aired.

Admittedly, I haven't looked at a lot of the fake/gamejack sites. I did read over how to spot them, and this livejournal doesn't really have the characteristics of the "typical" fake (apart from the creation date, which is a biggie). I know that doesn't mean jack. But if this guy really is supposed to be the Russian PR guy for Tagruato, then it would make sense that he just translates the Tag press releases into Russian.
I added the guy to my jabber contact list, but haven't checked to see if he's online in a few days. If someone could get him over chat, maybe we could straighten it out. Or maybe someone in Russia can just call him... I'm just sort of grasping for straws since all the other in-game stuff is quiet right now.
I'm not saying that any of this is highly difficult, but he went through a lot of effort w/ the site and facebook page. Have other fakes gone to this length? Just curiious...

monstro.ru

Funny is, even if it's a fake, they try to contact the "real world" in livejournal.
They made some advertising on various communities (without any comments or references to "Cloverfield"):
here
http://community.livejournal.com/interpreters/33101.html
(in translator community http://community.livejournal.com/interpreters/ "Everything about translation")
and here
http://community.livejournal.com/ru_smi/512067.html
(in community http://community.livejournal.com/ru_smi/, "News in various mass media")
If it's fake, they are spamming.
If it's marketing, they do their job

Little funny continuation:
http://www.dp.ru/spb/news/adveritsing/2008/01/18/255632
The site "Деловой Петербург" ("Business Sankt-Petersburg") reported: "Somebody joked with Sankt-Peterburg promising $0.5 billion dollar as investment in a drink manufacture. It was only a marketing campaign of JJ Abrams" (I think, this was the news, shamsway has mentioned above)

that's exactly what I was talking about. I saw it linked from one of the cloverfield fan blogs that had posted comments on the tagruato livejournal site.
that sounds like the sort of thing that could make you unpopular with Russian officials

Well since I have nothing else to do than look for some other sites that maybe out there i just came across the live journal one. On the other hand I found something else too. Genetic Testing on http://www.cytoweb.com/page/2 Its posts are from June 30, 2007 to Sept 30, 2007. Altho its mostly gibberish and probably real medical news, I thought it was interesting they post a couple of articles mentioning Tagruato. But in my mind I know there is more out there... maybe why Tagruato.jp and Tidowave.com are locked cause someone is hinting to us to stop looking at those.
Appears to be a legit website that uses some sort of news and blog spiders to make new posts, the owner of it registered it back in May of '07, as well as registering several other websites like one for using proxys to surf the web. Doesn't appear to be in game at all.

Interesting thing is, Mr. Cloverfieldov... ehm... Polecleverov answers questions in his tagruato-blog. I asked him, whether they are planing Russian version of Tagruato website. He answers: "We are working on it". Well, if a hoax-makers want to let their hoax live, they'll reply all the believers like me. But - who knows?..

I think the new update to Tagruato which includes a language selector pretty much ends this discussion I think.
