A pyramid record? No.

There was a spam thread a while back that had a huge pyramid. Full of smiley faces too. Froze my computer.

 		 Easter Eggs
lady wyntir here... i've been on the cloverfield clues boards since i saw the movie at the end of january and came across this site just recently.

Here are some confirmations/additions of some of the easter eggs you were all mentioning in the last 12 pages (yes... i read them all). Shocked

Happy Faces
Now back in 2006 or so, a group called the Wooster Collective was working with building owners to transform an older building into a type of art time capsule. This building is on 11 Spring Street - one block down from the Spring Street subway station. Art would be created on the inside and outside of the building for historic value, just in case someone came across a loose brick... (see webpage for explanation).

Anyway... one of the artists groups that were invited were called The London Police. They have a signature smiley face design, and although not the same exact as the sign in Cloverfield, it shares the location (spring street) and the concept design. Perhaps Abrams was just trying to lend atmosphere to the location. Additional pics of what it looks like now here.

1969 Reference
Please see Tagruato's history for their 1969 reference (Haven't installed japanese on my PC... boxes are probably Kanji Sad ) :
